Thalia De Luca is not only heir to the Italian Mafia, but also the daughter of the most power people in the world, Ace and Aria De Luca.
She gets her beauty from her mother and her cold guarded personality from her father, which makes her one of the best seductresses in the game. She knows how to make a man kneel to his knees for her.
Alexander Russo is one of the biggest players known in the Mafia world. He knows how to not only mess around with women but also push Thalia's buttons. He is good with guns and fighting but the only thing he isn't good at is communicating with Thalia De Luca.
When both Thalia's and Alexander's parents come together to assign an arranged marriage between the two, will sparks fly or will they burn in sorrow?

Thalia and Alexander are both from the same mafia and they hate each other, like HATE! This book is so spicy and I love how the hate they have runs throughout the whole book. Such an amazing read and I can’t wait to learn more about Killian in his book and Rowan!
This book didn’t do it for me. I didn’t connect with the characters and it took me a while to push through.
The writing.
There was a lot of dialogue and not enough descriptions. I noticed a lot of telling instead of showing and I personally like to imagine the scene as I go along in the story. During the middle/end of the book the conflicts were rushed. For example if the characters did something it would immediately resolve. So, I wasn’t kept on my toes wondering if the characters would be okay or not since I didn’t even have time to worry about them.
The Characters.
I did not like Alexander or Thalia they are so immature!! I don’t mind if characters have multiple non committed relationships, but I don’t like the way it was played out in the book.
(Small spoiler ahead)
Alexander is more immature than Thalia. After the slept together he wakes up and notices she’s not there and he basically throws a hissy fit about it. Grow up.
Thalia it’s like she was trying to be a badass but she wasn’t and I didn’t like it at all.
And me personally I would not consider this book an enemies to lovers it’s more of “I don’t like you for this stupid reason and you don’t like me either” because the characters never DO anything they just verbally say how they don’t like each other FOR NO REASON.
Overall I didn’t enjoy it, but I will continue to finish the series to see if the last book is better.
