Maddie is an office assistant for Renzo’s company. Due to past childhood trauma and a recent breakup with her boyfriend, Maddie assumed a hidden persona, a person in the shadows, who does not call attention to herself. Until one day, Renzo walks into a room where she is in the middle of sending a sexy photo to her boyfriend. He likes what he sees, and she soon possesses his thoughts. That disastrous day is the same one she learned her boyfriend dumped her. In Renzo’s position, as the Don, he needs a wife and his thoughts drift to Maddie. Will he persuade her to be his wife? Will there be obstacles? To find out you must read this book.
Ms. Hamel does an outstanding job utilizing literary devices. Her dialog, both conversational and internal monologues are outstanding. Readers garner a better understanding of their character traits, their backstories, their pain, and their happiness. The lead characters are multi-dimensional. The secondary characters are interesting and contribute to the plot’s movement. I appreciate how she uses intrigue to enhance this character-driven romantic plot and pull her readers into this story.

In this story, clothes can hide the true beauty that is underneath. Maddie was the office manager at Rossi corporations. Her relationship with her boyfriend was just hanging on by a thread and she finally decided to take a risk to help spice up the romance. She decided to take a selfie and send it but she got caught by the CEO Renzo Rossi. He had an arranged marriage with the daughter of another crime family but she ran away. Renzo decided to ask Maddie into a fake marriage and provide him an heir and she would be paid a handsome sum after two years. What Maddie didn’t realize was that Renzo had fallen and he was trying everything to get her to love him back. A great story and I recommend reading this book.

This book was pretty good. I think she didn't take the whole thing seriously. Though, I don't think he did either. He was thinking he was falling for her, but then he would say he couldn't. So it was kind of annoying but mostly I liked it. There are a lot of typos towards the end, but it's not enough to bug you. Wouldn't say it was gonna stick with me. It's definitely ok to read & I wouldn't steer you away from it. On to the next!

Prinzipiell ist der Inhalt des Buches "Trotz großer Schwierigkeiten im Hintergrund spielen wir unbeschwert Mutter, Vater, Kind."

Eher Quälerei als Kurzweil, ich kann es nicht empfehlen.
