I bought this emergency weather radio to take camping and for weather or emergency alerts and I love the red color. It's well-worth the price and has a lot of features packed into this little radio. I find it easy to use (has clear well-written directions) and you have your choice of power sources and you can even charge your cell phone from it. It has a little compass right on the carry-strap and the SOS alarm has two sound settings and is loud which is what you want. The flashlight is bright and it also has a reading light which I haven't used yet. I think it's well-worth the price and good to have in an emergency. I would buy it again.

It helps if you turn on the power switch if you want it to work. I thought it didn't work and then I noticed the power button...duh. The siron is very loud. Both lights are very bright. Love that there are five ways to charge it. It is very small and light weight. I found the weather channel easily and very clear channels on Fm. I didn't try AM yet. I live in a valley between two mountain ranges and usually have a hard time getting radio channels. Don't know how it will last over the long term yet as I just received it yesterday. But, so far, so good.

We've had so many storms I was worried about just that an the little weather radio was right on it . Just love this little thing .It's so easy to use , very portable and very loud . The extras like chargers and lights may it a great value for the money and it's from NOAA . They know the weather . I like the size too , it's just right .
