- Reviewed in the United States on October 18, 2022This is a sweet, faith-filled, heartwarming book. Bessie and Jasper have much to be thankful for. Jasper has business to attend to and will not be able to go on the Oklahoma land run, but Bessie decides to go without him. Disguised as a man and accompanied by family friends, she is able to claim the land that she wanted. There was a lot of work to do getting the land and buildings ready, so that they could make the land productive and stay safe. But, with help from her friends, she was able to do it. When Jasper finally arrives, trouble is not far behind him. With God's help they may be able to finally find their HEA. I really enjoyed this book. I loved the detailed descriptions of all the work that had to be done in order to make this opportunity work for them. This is another great book by author, Paulette D Marshall, that I recommend and hope you take the time to read. I couldn't put it down, once I started and hope you feel the same way.

Bessie disguises herself as a man and along with members of her family goes to Oklahoma and claims land. When Jasper arrives trouble follows him. When Bessie learns of Jasper's secrets what will she do? Will the couple have a HEA? Be sure and read this page turner to find out; I know you will enjoy it as much as I did.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 3, 2022I might have finished this book but I only made it to 14%. There are multiple errors on every page and it ruins the reading experience.
