- Reviewed in the United States on January 26, 2023Compact and with 0.01g precision, AND cheap. I use this to measure the amount of beans going into an espresso shot, and the 0.01g precision allows you to control the dose down to a single bean.
I haven't seen any drift in reading yet -- measure different things multiple times and the readings are consistent with slight fluctuations in the last digit among different runs (but always comes back to 0 after removing everything), so it's good enough for my purpose.
The only flaw I can think of is that the (non-adjustable) self poweroff time is perhaps a bit too short -- good for battery life, but does introduce some inconvenience. For the price and performance, I'm happy to live with that.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 15, 2022Great value overall. Pictured are the scales' results when reading 50g, 5g, 0.5g, and 0.1g test weights. I consider all of these well within acceptable limits, especially at this price point. Perhaps remarkable given the price, really.
My use case is for precision weighing for bread baking: yeast, salt, spices, flax meal, wheat germ, dry milk powder, diastatic malt powder and other ingredients. I want to make recipes accurately and create my own that are repeatable. Note rhat this is for measuring small amounts of these ingredients and it does not replace a larger scale I use for flour, etc.
I also like that it tucks out of the way, and stores easily in a drawer. It's smaller than my cell phone!

- Reviewed in the United States on June 19, 2020Pros:
Price. Easy to use and read. Nice functions. Tare is very useful. Compact. Comes with case and weighing container that doubles as part of case.
Cons:
Weighing varies and is not accurate. May be better if calibrated, so buy a 500g calibration weight. I am not sure when this issue started. I had product for a year. Noticed it about 6 or 8 months after use. Perhaps this is due to scale sensitivity and the need to be calibrated more often?
- Reviewed in the United States on June 30, 2019So far so good. Two years later and I still like the scale. The original batteries are still good and I'm buying a weight to calibrate it. I use it for home brewing to weigh hops and its incredibly easy to use. Unless I do something to damage it I will probably never need to replace it since it appears to be well made, accurate and a great value.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 18, 2019I have calibrated this scale over and over. I've replaced the batteries, cleaned etc and I cannot get the scale to give me a perfect reading. After calibrating it with a 500g weight (and this is a high quality weight so I know its not the weight itself that is off...) It reads it as a perfect 500g. However, If I re-weigh the weight it will continually fluctuate from 500.01 to 500.02 and is still never exactly at 500. I realize this is a very I'm a fraction but when weighing items down to the "t" it makes all the difference. It's too bad I missed the return window 😣
- Reviewed in the United States on November 13, 2020This is a nice little digital scale. Works greats. Only one negative is that the scale drains the batteries even when it’s off. Drains quick. Like if you use rechargeable batteries (Panasonic eneloop AAA) after the scale is left unused for 3+ week you might get “Lo” low battery display and the scale powers off. If the batteries reach 1.2v the scale says “Lo” I use it once every few weeks to weigh green coffee beans to roast. The scale has auto off when not used but when I try to use it a 2nd or 3rd time the batteries are low.

The Vendor I ordered this from is Simply Amazing (Mucheng Home).
I had a Minor Problem with one sticky-pad foot missing. Not only did they send a new Set of sticky pads -
And even though I had declined their most gracious additional offer, they sent it anyway.
IMHO - this scale is Highly Recommended, as is Mucheng Home.
-
OK - - so I'm a bit of a Geek.
After some negative reviews of this device, I thought I'd better check it out upon receipt.
With the cover on the platform and Tare'ed Zero, I took 11 data points for the same quarter.
The Mean was 5.74 grams with Standard Deviation 0.01 gram - which was as advertised.
I am extremely happy with my purchase. 10mg accuracy for $11 - - unreal.
And it comes with a hard-shell cover and a faux leather slipcase.
Operation is a no-brainer. IF durability should become problematic - I will update this review.
-
Mine was missing one of the small rubber stabilization feet on the back - but operation seemed normal.
The instruction manual was uninterpretable regarding the calibration and counting functions.
Manual referred to a 'Salver' - which interprets as: a tray, typically one made of silver and used in formal circumstances. There are no silver trays nor anything I would use in any formal occasion.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just what I wanted at a great price.
Simple, easy to use gram scale, great for small measures of ingredients - baker here so small-batch tests need rather tiny quantities if thins like yeast or salt. I was frustrated "guessing" using my larger scale that measures in grams but not accurately when doing tiny amounts. This is the ticket to fixing that issue.
It's also a nice looking scale, the lid works as a container to measure into. Digits are large so easy to read. Measures in 100ths of a gram, like 3.41 grams, much more accurate than I actually need, but it's not an issue to have it.
Delivery was crazy fast and, being a Prime member, I even got it delivered on a SUNDAY. That was a huge surprise. I got an email saying the delivery was happening on Sunday and I just figured it would arrive on Monday. Nope, a couple of hours later, someone's at the front door with the package. So extra thumbs up for that.
So overall I'm super happy with this purchase - albeit over the many years I've used Amazon (1998) when they only sold books, I have never NOT been happy, even that one time when I needed to return a product.
So between the very nice little scale itself and the delivery of same, I am (again) a very satisfied, long time customer.

2.0 out of 5 stars Auto off after 1 minute
I wanted these small scales for making pourover coffee brews and that doesn't work with such a short auto-off time. The accuracy is also questionable...I put stuff on the scale, it gave a reading, added some more stuff and the reading indicated the new total weight, but then slowly decreased over the next 20 seconds but about a gram. That doesn't seem right. Anyway, going back for a refund. Not recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great scale, terrible lid
I can't speak to the accuracy too much as I don't have a control weight to test it, but it does seem accurate! I trust it enough to continue using it. Only gripe is the lid/build is made a bit poorly. The lid is very difficult to take off unless you slide it flush towards the front before trying to lift it up. Took me awhile to figure this out... but just a tip for others in case they were having the same issue. It also comes with a nice leather pouch.
