Another batch with reverse labels. Works great if used as shown in my photos.
This is a great little opto-isolated transistor driver for LED strips (or whatever else). Although it shares a common ground so it's not completely isolated if that is a requirement. Also as wired it is only for common anode LEDs.The labels were backwards on a batch I ordered in November of 2021. The correct pinout and configuration is shown in the photos I included. Also worth nothing is that the black wire (red triangle) on the input is positive from the controller (which is the common anode for the opto-isolators). So grounding the input pins turns the LED output on. The red triangle on the output side is the high voltage positive supplied from the stand alone red and black wires that come directly off the board.Hope this helps someone. I blew a couple ESP's before I tore off the heat shrink to figure out what was going wrong. Would be 5 stars if QC wasn't absent. I'm driving a strip with 2A on each channel with no issues. I needed a means of controlling seven RGB strips from one remote controller/receiver. I used two of these amplifiers connected to one receiver with a dual output 12v 60w LED driver. These amplifiers are incased in a metal box. If you need to mount it with screws it is a simple matter of pulling out the connectors to access the screw flange. I tend to make up the wiring on these connectors detached from the device, then plug them in.
