Real life simulation!
We started playing this game with friends just yesterday night, and immediately felt bound to it; couldn’t stop playing for 4 hours! It brings you in a simulation of the real world finances, and shows in simple terms how you can manage them, and what it really takes from a person to chase their dream. We will play again and again. I seriously think it’s the best tabletop game that I ever played.

Bought this to accompany the Rich Dad Poor Dad book that I'm reading with my 13 year old and nephews. Right out of the gate, this tool is great at rewiring what it means to win "the game." It exposes weaknesses in financial acumen and forces quick changes. For what it teaches, in the easiest way possible, it's worth its price.

I liked the game. I got it to play with my nephews who are 11 and 8, who love Monopoly. I did have to help them a bit but they were able to follow along once they caught on. A few times it got emotional for them but overall they enjoyed it and we finished the game after 3 hours. It was really funny watching them run into the other room and tell their mom "ah man, I got another kid!" or "I just earned $10,000!!" lol. I liked how the 8 year old, who was a lowly mechanic in the game, complained that his 11 year old brother was a lawyer that earned 3x more every payday—only to be the one to win anyways lol.

I'd say negatives, besides cost, are that there should be dividers to help organize the money when putting it away. Also, it would be better if the fast track followed the same pattern as the rat race. It starts you off earning 100x the cash flow you had in the rat race which doesn't make any sense. That makes that part unrealistic unless you were starting the fast track like 20 years later. I did try playing by myself with 100x the cash flow and it will still work but takes quite a bit longer.

But overall it's a fun game, it gets you thinking and using your math skills. They have wanted to schedule a time to play again and I'm looking forward to it as well.

One thing to add, I would love to have several levels like Junior where you do not pay much attention for your starting loans and do not pay taxes for stocks and purchases.
Middle where you pay taxes and pay off loans + have recessions that change the money grade.
Money Shark where all above + you have cycles of changes... where real estate goes to waste or changes value in 2 times. on vise a versa increases. Same paying taxes based on the tax brackets based on your position. Same as kids, family expanses have more detailed view.
Otherwise, after playing the game for 2-3 times you know the tricks and it stops being interesting.

We purchased this game as a family Christmas present to play over the holidays. We were excited to learn some more about how to deal with finances, and it did teach us some stuff. Once we played it a few times, we got the hang of it quite quickly. But after we played it a few more times, we were bored. It became a little monotonous and it's a little tedious with all the erasing and rewriting. Our kids seemed to learn the value of consistently investing to gain more money, and overall, that being diligent with your finances will allow you to become wealthy over time. Really good game, but a bit boring after playing just a few times.

First time playing the game. First 30 min, we were soon all frustrated cuz we are stuck in the rat race inner wheel - and why are we stuck? Because we haven’t been taking big enough risks!! We were laughing because it is SO true to real life!

Once we realized we have to think bigger and take bigger risks, and get our residual income to surpass our income - now we can finally escape the rat race!!

This game is SO necessary for every single American home that wants to learn that “just getting a good education and being a good employee” will NOT give you the life of your dreams.

Way to go Rich Dad team. This game is GOOD.

Plus, nice way to sneak in some math skills, learning about assets and liabilities.

We had to stop and start several times cuz of life’s interruptions and we have small children who wanted to play chutes and ladders, but the kids asked us to continue playing!

It took me a couple games until I could figure out how to get out of the rate race!
It is worth it for the way it changes how you think about money and investments. The book of cash flow quadrants can help you understand how to make that mind shift

I recent bought the board game because I have read the book and wanted to try the game. At first felt the game was expensive but once I actually played I realized how fun it is.

This game teaches you things that should be taught in school to everyone as kids. Even adults can have fun with the game. I highly recommend this for anyone willing to get hands on and what you learn from here is a lot more than what the game is worth. It's quite a long time and forces people to think and play while also having fun at the same time. Teaches us that life is not always fair to all but we come across many opportunities that we don't realize. Make sure to buy this and find out what kind of financial mindset you have.
