PregnancyPREGNANCY BACK/HIP PAIN RELIEF - The importance of using the Serola Sacroiliac Belt during and, especially, after pregnancy cannot be overemphasized. During pregnancy, the ligaments, under hormonal influences, become lax and stretch to allow the pelvis to spread for delivery. It is important to hold the sacroiliac and pubic joints firmly together after delivery in order to assist the ligaments in shortening and realigning the pelvis properly. If you are pregnant and in need of relief from pelvic pain, the Serola Sacroiliac Belt will help. |
Health & MedicalTHE FIRST STEP IN CONSERVATIVE CARE - The study of biomechanics presents a promise: care of the human frame, its supporting musculature and neural pathways may lead to more balanced health, less pain, and reduced expenditures. Yet, we fail to understand the basic underlying mechanisms that unite the musculoskeletal system. Although we know that the body is an interconnected whole, the big picture is not evident. Sometimes, the simplest things can be overlooked in a vast sea of information that becomes more complicated and less accessible as we gain more knowledge. |
WorkplaceBELT TO PREVENT BACK PAIN AT WORK - Another back belt? Didn’t we already go through that scenario and find that they were almost worthless? Yes, we did, but those were lumbar belts, which function under a completely different concept than sacroiliac belts. Bending, lifting, and twisting are known movements that can cause or aggravate sacroiliac joint injuries. These movements are essential functions in many workplaces. When the worker twists his or her spine, the ligaments within the spine and sacroiliac joints absorb the force at the end of the motion and help the body decelerate. |
Golf & Other SportsSPORTS INJURY PAIN RELIEF - In golf, or any sport, technique is the blending of power and touch that requires smoothly coordinated motor coordination. We practice movements until technique overcomes hesitation and confidence overcomes uncertainty, to the point where muscle memory provides skill and accomplishment. A very important ingredient to successful training and performance is a stable structure, which is determined by the integrity of the joints, and the ligaments within them. |
SEROLA BELT FOR SCIATICA RELIEF & TREATMENT
There are two major causes of sciatica, both of which involve irritation to the sciatic nerve, but differ in where the pressure is applied, yet both have the same original cause, the sacroiliac joint. The pain is most often felt in the buttocks but may follow the nerve down the back of the upper leg to the outside of the calf, and into the big toe. In some instances, it can lead to weakening and shrinking of the leg muscles that are served by the sciatic nerve.
Treatment involves stabilizing the sacroiliac joint (SI joint). The Serola Belt may be considered the first step in conservative care as it may give complete relief by itself. Most exercise involves stretching but, be careful, muscles become tight for a reason; they help stabilize the SI joint. Stretching tight muscles may also stretch the sacroiliac ligaments &re-injure the SI joint. Wearing a Serola Belt during exercise and stretching is your best chance to keep the SI joint stable and minimize stress to the sciatic nerve.
SEROLA BELT FOR LOWER BACK PAIN
If you have been dealing with hip pain or back pain, it may be a sign that it is time to get a back support. The Serola Sacroiliac Belt is designed to help support your back, thus giving you more effective strength in your back, hips, and legs. By wearing our belt, you are taking the first step in conservative care and treating your body well. When the belt is being worn, it acts as an external ligament to help support the body and stabilize the SI joint.
If you want to get relief from low back pain, do not waste any more time. By relieving your back pain with the Serola Sacroiliac Belt you can feel happier and less stressed. We can help you get your pain-free body back. Your body will thank you!
SEROLA BELT EXTENDER (**Sold Separately**)
The Serola Belt Extender adds 8 inches to the length of the Serola Sacroiliac Belt, which makes it the perfect solution for pregnant women looking to extend the size of their Serola Belt, or for customers that are in between sizes and aren’t sure which size to get.

Someone suggested this belt. I put off buying one for literally a year because I thought for sure it'd be a waste of $30.
I'm rarely this happy to be wrong.
The first day I wore it, a friend suggested we take our dogs for "a short walk." (Background: walking at a good pace for any real length, more than maybe half a mile, is a known and surefire trigger for a world of pain for me.) Deceptive little thing she was, we ended up walking nearly three miles, and while my SI joint was certainly a little sore at the end, I had NONE of the "seizing" type of sudden/sharp pain I'm used to when I push it that hard. I couldn't believe it.
Since then, I've worn it at work (I'm an RN in an ICU so I walk and move around... a lot... and can get pretty sore) with good results. I tend to only wear it when I know I'm pushing it and want to avoid severe pain, because it is tight, and can get uncomfortable to wear when I'm not otherwise hurting too much as I have a wee bit of extra padding around the hips. I'm a BMI of around 28... I honestly do not think that this could be comfortably worn and still useful for anyone who is significantly overweight. But it's been a HUGE help for when I'm pushing myself hard enough to cause SI pain... lets me keep going and keeps the pain to a minimum. Very pleased overall.
I literally wore this band (make sure you put it on tight and in the proper place for it to work its magic) for approx. 2 days and OH MY GOSH!!!! I walked around and cleaned the house with it on and my pain is GONE!!! I was nervous going on vacation and being in pain. That wouldn't be any fun! However, I didn't need it at all!!!! When I had pain, it would come from simple tasks such as just bending down to pick up something, putting the dogs leash on or even getting in the car. How frustrating!!! I am sooo glad I found this. I hope this review and product helps at least on person. Good luck!
