  The Alienware Aurora R16 seems to be a bit finicky with RAM. There's quite a few posts on forums where certain brands don't work quite right, especially when you try to get RGB features. I bought four of these to upgrade two Alienware R16 machines and had no issues at all.
  
  Replaced the two 8GB sticks, turn on, get the warning that memory had changed, and 64GB of pure goodness was then available. The RGB features worked great and everything has run stable for a few weeks. The only small thing I noticed is that the RAM seemed to run at 52000MT/s, but this seems to be a known issue with the R16 and is likely due to XMP profiles. Still, only a slight speed drop for very reasonably priced RAM.
