Might not work in your 0-10 volt application

Was excited to find this. As a DIY'er I mistakenly bought and installed a HALO Quicklink ceiling LED kit with 0-10 volt dimming (instead of the TRIAC dimming variant which uses standard dimmers). I could not find a home automation switch for 0-10 volt dimming and thought this would work. Installed it today. Hardware seemed nice, app interface very good with a lot of options. But it would not turn off my lights, only dim them to a low level. Apparently 0-10 volt dimming in the USA can be accomplished by a couple different technical standards. When I called the HALO manufacturer tech support line they said their lights could not be shut off via the 0-10 volt control circuit, only dimmed to a minimum level. You need an inline switch to shut it off via the line 120 volt power that goes to the LED driver unit. This is separate from the line power that feeds the Shelly unit. This Shelley unit does not switch the line power to the LED driver/lights on or off, it only works to dim the lights and shut them off via the 0-10 volt low voltage wiring. The switches in the Shelly wiring diagram are not to shut off power to the LED driver lights, but are used indirectly in a separate loop to signal the Shelly unit to turn off power or dim the lights via the 0-10 volt wires only. If your LED 0-10 volt setup is not compatible with this, this Shelly unit will not work. Shelley needs to add a compatible LED lighting manufacturer/model list to their website description, add more use case description to their web site, and show a system wiring diagram for the entire LED lighting setup, not just the isolated portion at the Shelly unit only. Also be aware that you need to buy separately and install a 2 amp inline fuse to protect the unit, as it only draws a very low amp level to run the 0-10 volt control circuit. This adds another thing to cram into the gang box, although I was pleasantly surprised by the small size of the Shelly unit itself.

Kann keine LED Treiber mit DALI 0 - 10V korrekt ansteuern, da keine digitale Steuerung (sondern quasi nur "analoge" PWM). Es kommen max 8V heraus statt 10V. Unter 30V steigen die DALI- LED- Treiber aus.
Könnte auch draufstehen, dass es nicht DALI- kompatibel ist.
Ansonsten, mein Recherche- Fehler.
