Works great! Not as exciting as a new graphics card or VR headset, but if you're a sim pilot who wants realism you need a real trim wheel! On planes with these, there is no other substitute. Easy install. MSFS knows it and easy to bind. Couple of things - it's larger than I thought, which is good, and rotates a lot of times. When you're installing you have to spin it a while to see that it is installed.

I think this has the same resistance and feel to what I have used in real Cessna 172s and 182s. It is a big improvement over trying to use a yoke electric trim button. I just installed it yesterday but have already tried it and I feel it is adding a lot of realism.
One suggestion for new purchasers. Take a small piece of sandpaper or a file and round off the front panel edges and corners, just a little. They are sharp and will scratch your hands. Minor clean up.
I feel this item is well worth the cost and is appropiate for most fixed wing aircraft.

This is a great product. For me, it provides much better trim control than buttons, or the small wheels found on some yokes. Note that it is large and will take up some space. You can calibrate it using the instructions provided. It is recognized by MFS and the instructions help you assign it to a function if not done automatically. Customer support is great if you have questions. Overall, a nice, useful addition to my flight sim gear.

Online instructions are very clear. The unit has a serial cord output and comes with a serial to usb cable. Cable plugs into yoke no problem. Initial setup for trim is easy if you follow the instructions. I tried without the instructions and got it wrong. Now it works like a dream and simulates trim much more realistically than using buttons on my yoke. Looking at their throttle quadrant to replace the logitech one which are levers instead of pull knobs.
