This WUPP space-saving fuse block can provide protection for new installations or when the panel has run out of breakers.

Please Keep in Notice:

The advantage of our fuse block is that it has an indicator light, so when the fuse is blown, the indicator light will light up immediately to show you which fuse is blown. But you may get voltage across the circuit even with no fuse in place, that's because the fuse box has its own light circuit, the light circuit has resistance, so it displays some voltage.

So if you are extremely power-sensitive, be aware, this is the normal situation, please don't worry.

Documentation is weak and does not fully characterize the product.

No issue with fuse insertion or decoupling. Screwed down well; don't over tighten. Terminal screw/sets seem good quality. Positive and negative posts may be a little close to the body and larger lugs from heavy wires may be troublesome. Currently, I am using small ring 10-12 AWG crimped connectors, with 10 AWG primary wire. I think the posts are #10. Haven't tried but 8 AWG/lugs may cause some issues (ordered).

Observations:
This is product is essentially two buss bars with fuses for any screw. It appears to act like a house fuse panel. When main power is applied, current is always present at the screws, waiting for a circuit to be completed (fused or un-fused to a ground). If you touch a positive screw, don't touch a ground (duh!). When fuses are present, 13v can be measure with a meter at the + screw and ground . When fuses are NOT present and no lead is attached, 11v can be measured at the + screw and its light is dimly lighted. Any + screw with a lead connected and fused is a hot open wire, measuring 13v. Any fused screw without a lead connected, is a hot and measures 13v.

Ground is common to all screws and not isolated by its ordinal position on the block, associated with any particular positive screw. So, the order of association between any one circuit pair of negative and positive leads on the screws is up to the user.

Like a home fuse panel, apply the cover to preclude a short.

This is really nicely made, High tolerance mouldings, nice quality plastic that's suitably sturdy, good thick traces on the PCB where required to carry high currents. Excellent! Relays appear appropriately rated according to the markings embossed into the plastic relay housings. It is just a shame that to replace a relay you'd need to completely unwire the entire box, remove the backof the unit and desolder the faulty relay before soldering in a new one. Honestly I'd have paid double for the same product but with socketed relays accessible from the front. Don't be fooled, the bump on the front that covers the relays is part of the case's one piece molding.
