It covers everything you need to know about how to get started in Sous Vide cooking along with the most amazing looking recipes. I have been looking for a Sous Vide cookbook that would have everything I needed to get started with Sous Vide cooking and the recipes combined. I received a Sous Vide cooking system as a gift but was a little hesitant to start using it. With this cookbook that I was lucky enough to receive and write a review on I pulled it out this morning and I was able to make the most amazing poached eggs I've had yet. With such a good recipe and simple instructions I was not hesitant to do it whatsoever! I'm currently doing the Citrus Creme Brulee using orange zest. I make Creme Brulee a lot so I cannot wait to taste it using the Sous Vide. I also make my own homemade yogurt so I can't wait to try the yogurt as well. When it says "A beginners guide to gourmet cooking made easy " you can rest assure that so far this cookbook is the real deal and will be the cookbook for you as it is for me.

I have been using the sous vide method for about two years, and I love to cook. There are a lot of great resources out there for beginners, and I have read many of them. Whenever I want to find the best time/temp for a food, I almost always ended up at her food blog and the results were spot on. She is one of my favorites to pin in my “tried and true” section of Pinterest. Therefore, I was thrilled to see she came out with this cookbook! It’s a great collection for the beginner and not so beginner with enticing foods in just about every food group. The pictures are wonderful, and there is one for each recipe which is so important. I like that the title says “Gourmet Food Made Easy.” I can’t wait to make many of these recipes knowing how precise her recipes have been with such delicious results!
