The SimbaLux acrylic plexiglass sheets can be used for a range of artistic and professional projects, such as photo frame glass replacement, art protector, plastic canvas, laser engraved signage, tabletop protector, and more. These all-purpose, transparent plexiglass sheets are suitable for indoor and outdoor use, providing stronger durability than glass with high-quality weather resistance. Please note the thickness is 1mm (0.04 inch), which may be slightly thinner than the typical photo frame glass. For the most common photo frame glass thickness, please consider our 2mm (0.08 inch) thickness products.
Special Ordering Notes:
Please verify the exact thickness, dimensions, color, transparent vs. translucent vs. opaque levels prior to ordering. Please note we do not provide any customization service such as cutting to a specific size. Once the item is received, please peel off the protective sheet cover as soon as possible. Leaving the sheet cover on the acrylic surface for a long time may lead to difficulty removing it later on. If the sheet cover is difficult to remove, try to use an alcohol wipe to rub on the sheet cover at a corner to help remove the sheet cover.

Difficult to remove protective film

It sounds like a good idea for the plexiglass to arrive with a protective sheet. However, there are two sheets, front and back and they are very difficult to remove. Just a heads up. If you are having to use a bunch of these, it takes time to remove.
