The Great Reset and the Struggle for Liberty: Unraveling the Global Agenda is the definitive treatment of the Great Reset. In a scholarly examination, Rectenwald treats the various components of the Great Reset, including the economic system it establishes, the deep history of the World Economic Forum (WEF), the population control "ethics" of the WEF and related globalist organizations, climate change catastrophism, the technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (including transhumanism), and the question of conspiracy theory. Rectenwald ends with a nine-point plan for stopping the Great Reset in its tracks, as part of what he calls the Grand Refusal. Far from a conspiratorial rant, The Great Reset and the Struggle for Liberty is a thoroughly sourced account that lays bare the premises and implications of the Great Reset project.

Advance Praise for The Great Reset and the Struggle for Liberty

"Michael Rectenwald's The Great Reset and the Struggle for Liberty is a masterful and timely work of intellectual history from one of our time's most courageous dissident voices. With extensive research in various disciplines - from European history and sociology to American finance, and from AI to climate science - Rectenwald gives us a sweeping and detailed account of the false prophets of an anti-human movement threatening to engulf America and other Western democracies. This tour-de-force is essential reading for those engaged in the ongoing struggle to preserve man's freedom and future against totalitarianism - and a lasting testament of hope, faith, and love for the generations to come."

- Lee Smith, author of The Permanent Coup and The Plot Against the President, host of The Epoch Times' Over the Target.

"When you first hear what the world's elites are up to, you think: this can't be true. Unfortunately, dear reader, it is, and we do ourselves no favors by pretending otherwise. In fact, as Michael Rectenwald shows us, their current program didn't emerge just a year or two ago but is instead the culmination of a century-long effort against the liberties of the people. You'll see how their current obsessions -- woke ideology, "climate change," vaccine passports, and so on -- combine to solidify their dominance. This book lays out, in their own words, their plans and intentions, and what we can do to stop them."

- Tom Woods, senior fellow of the Mises Institute and host of The Tom Woods Show.

This is the most complete and well written account of what we have been, and are being subjected to for many years by globalist agendas. I know understand EXACTLY why the past few years have included draconian tactics to subjugate humanity. We face a neo-feudalism, and return to a complete totalitarian state of being, on a global scale. This book explains exactly how they are accomplishing this.

Congratulations to the author, Michael Rectenwald, for his superhuman effort and success in writing this exposé that indeed unravels the global agenda. He fearlessly connects the dots on seemingly incomprehensible events foisted upon us by a cartel of globalists. It is a well-written and immensely enjoyable read.
Rectenwald effortlessly blends journalism, scholarship, history, and judgment. This subject is extraordinarily timely, and the author covers important players and issues happening now with facts and astute quotes. He delves deeply into concepts, theories, and policies, communicating their meaning without intellectual snobbery. I was often surprised by his grasp of the history of organizations, people, and ideas, down to when and where certain policies were first made public.
Lastly, the author doesn't write with the disinterested weakness of some scholars or with the brutal attacks of a prosecuting attorney. Rather, he writes like a benevolent judge who has heard every con ever pulled and is savvy at sifting for the truth, making absolutely just reckoning. The book ends with positive and practical advice on how not to be taken to the cleaners by global elitists.
In conclusion, I have read about four books in this general area, and this is my top recommendation. It is an excellent overview and guide through today's difficult times.

I have 3 books on the "great reset," and Dr Rectenwald's book is far and away the best. The chapters are both thorough and brief. He delves into the background and origins of not only the globalist ideals that are promoted with the GR, but importantly, he traces the history and the succession of groups that have brought us to this point, of which the WEF is most in the news. He writes in a very engaging style, so the reader has the blessing of getting all the facts and the pleasure of reading a well researched and written book. His nine-point plan for stopping the GR is particularly helpful. (Note: I can add that the print version is well laid out, well bound, with larger and bolder fonts, a pleasure to read ). If you want to know all about the great reset this is the book you want.

Although professor M. Rectenwald is a very intelligent man he wrote a very simple 367 page book to read and understand. There's lots of citation to verify information he provides. I knew most of the information because I've known most of this because I've been down the rabbit hole since 2008. I bought this for my teen kids because Michael writes the info in the most understandable and simplest way for any age. He also provides ways for us to fight back through non-compliance, non-violently turning our backs on their plans. Thank you Michael R.

Comprehensive coverage of not only the WEF shenanigans, but how they're being deployed to bring about a false utopia. This isn't the stuff of conspiracy theory, it's all right out in the open. It's hard to write on this subject without sounding alarmist, because it's just alarming. Rectenwald does a good job of it, though. Important book. Read it and you'll understand much of what is going on now that would otherwise seem just weird.

Socialism is an economic system. The euphemism that sells it is, take from the rich and give to the poor. It has failed every time. Marxism was socialism by force by employees upon their employers. Fascism was socialism by force by government. Communism is totalitarian socialism by force upon other nations. The great reset is totalitarian socialism by surreptitious technology upon all nations by the WEF. They proudly state, it is modeled after China. It is happening here. Read this book!

This is the most in-depth book on The Great Reset I’ve come across.

Calling this a conspiracy now is just ludicrous or pure gaslighting.

Rectenwald ends this well-researched and well-written explanation of what the Great Reset really is, with a highly practical list of ways to preserve our liberty, autonomy, and sovereignty, and avoid or completely deter the Great Reset

Lots of not well known but extremely important information to have in hand with sources listed on most every page so you know this entire book has been thoroughly researched. The information this book provides is a much needed resource to guard ourselves and to prepare ourselves against the great reset as much as is humanly possible and I highly encourage everyone to read it as the great reset is now well underway so time is of the essence!

This book is a MUST read for anyone who is truly interested in trying to understand what the hell is going on with our ruling class. All my extensive reading so far has provided me with a table full of mixed-up jigsaw pieces. This book has provided the picture so that the other pieces can be slotted into place. I can tell you, the picture is frightening. Brace yourself for a scary, white-knuckle ride.

A great read, albeit unsettling. However, there are action points to put one on the path to better things. The future looks bright when there is an aware and conscious public, which would certainly make life a whole lot more fun than the tyranny some people are currently blind to. Huge credit to the author and contributors - modern day heroes putting your information out. Thank you.

I started this book three times. Once just to read, stopped at chapter 2. Went back to the start, this time I was annotating, underlining, notes, and post-it tabs. Stopped again in chapter 3. Started again, this time savoring every word. Reading slowly in order not to miss anything. Highly recommended.
