BRP Sea Doo doesn't offer a Bilge Pump for my GTX iS 260 Limited, this Bilge Pump Rules
This Automatic Bilge Pump offers 2 different Options of Automatic Modes. 1: Level Sensing (1.3" or 2") or 2: Load Sensing (Pump briefly runs every 2.5 Minutes for Load or No Load Sensing) in which the Pump will continue to run until the Load is gone. I chose the Load Sensing Mode due to limited space, I mounted the unit on the Port Side at about a 45 degree angle (May 2020). I believe that this Pump helped prevent my Ski from sinking in the Fall of 2021when my Ski's Carbon Seal began to Fail (this pump is capable of expelling 900 GPH which I believe is almost double the Rated Capacity of of the OEM Bilge Pump offered by BRP for Non-Suspension Ski's). I've purchased dozens of bilge pumps, and this one has lasted the longest in my bilges (42' Chris Craft w/ 4 pumps, 108' decommissioned wooden ship w/ 9 bilge compartments). The price has consistently increased with inflation and it is still worth the money. The automatic control end has to be kept clean of slime else it will not automatically shut off. It has a built in sensor that energizes the pump and measures the amperage to see if the pump is in water or air, so it kicks on once every two minutes and spins for about 2-3 seconds then turns off again, the sound is reassuring since I know the bilge is dry when I hear it, the power used is nominal. I keep a spare in each boat. Just replaced another one in the Chris Craft (built 1970), the pickup was covered in gunk and debris so I am guessing it tried until it died, 3 years old, not bad. Put in another and the bilge was pumped in 40 minutes. I will continue testing other pumps, but in my logbook, this is the one to beat.

This unit is excellent. The fact that the discharge section will rotate gives it flexibility when routing the discharge line. I have had a leak in my boat and this reliably comes on automatically and takes care of the problem. Be advised that you should carefully follow the mounting instructions or you could possibly burn it up if it's mounted wrong. It also has an additional wire to install a switch for manual operation, which I did. And don't forget the fuse.

Good Pump from a well known Company.

One issue so far. Mounting Tabs are under the Pump Housing, forcing me to drive 'sideways' holes. Due to space issues in my Bilge (16' Center Console), I only installed 1 Screw. I have to go back and will secure the Pump with a couple of screwdown zip straps. I don't have the access to install the other Screw....

All it would take would be to have a .25" more sideways, away from the Pump..... Wouldn't even have to change the mold. Just include a SS flat plate to attach, or not, that allows more access.

Anyway, installed. Now I have to go back and do some cleanup.

I should have heeded the warnings from low rated reviews. I had the same problems mentioned with constantly running after starting a cycle. I saw many positive ratings, and the features of this pump are, as often said, "too good to be true" Obviously, many folks like it and rate it well, but it did not work for us.

Ours failed within 2 weeks of installation. Worked fine intermittently, but checking on our boat we would arrive to hear our bilge alarm sounding, and the pump running dry.

Customer/technical support at Xylem is very nice and helpful, but that doesn't fix a poor product. Caution that there are two models - differentiated by either two white dots or one black dot on the side of the pump. The black dot model is supposed to be an improvement, but the older model is supposed to work just fine.

If you buy and it doesn't work, don't delay in returning - after a delay in installation and messing with the pump, calling customer service, we've lost the window to return to AMAZON. The three year warranty is of no use, as the difficulty in removing the motor cartridge is nearly impossible in our location under an engine oil pan. We wouldn't go through the installation frustrations with a replacement pump on the risk of another defective (or erratic) pump.

The instructions are very poor. Water streams out of the discharge fitting; the only clue that this is normal is an imprint on the side of the pump. There is no mention in the instructions. We tightened trying to stop this leak before finding that the discharge is normal. What plumber thinks water leaking form a fitting is "normal?"

Props to Xylem for standing behind Rule Pumps - We will stick with the basic with a float switch.

I have always had several inches of water standing in my bilge because of the design of traditional bilge pumps. For the first time in 12 years of owning my boat there is only 1/4" to 3/8" of water in it now. Rule came up with a great design, it is low profile, adjust to discharge at different angles and works great. I have 2 more sump pumps and have ordered another to replace one. The third pump is installed as a emergency incase the other can not keep up.

This is a very low profile pump and thus is ideal for confined or difficult locations. In my case, the bilge is very shallow, less than 4 inches, therefore the standard vertical pumps would not work.
The ability to turn the outlet through 180 degrees makes placement very easy.

The pump comes with several settings, the first are a high level, approximately 2.5 inches, the second is a low level of approximately 1 inch. The pump can also be switched to an autosensing mode whereby the pump switches on every 2.5 minutes and then turns off if no water is detected.
I have the pump connected to a Rule #41 switch which allows for manual or auto operation.
