Be Bold: You were never meant to fit in Kindle Edition

4.9 4.9 out of 5 stars 40 ratings

“Taking bold action does not mean being reckless. Bold is different from courage and confidence. Bold is being afraid and still taking a chance. Bold is traveling your life’s journey on your terms. Being bold means that you have the strength to make choices for your highest good. Boldness includes identifying and pursuing your passions, even in the face of objections and obstacles. Being bold means that you are unapologetically goal-oriented and motivated, ready to face and overcome the fear and self-doubt that will undoubtedly show up. Traveling the road less traveled and listening to your intuition is boldness personified.” Janet Zavala, Be Bold

In the following pages you will discover your true boldness! To expand into unexpected possibilities is a gift. These adventurers, authors and personal development coaches help you to Be Bold in new and wonderful ways!

The proverb “Experience is the best teacher” is shown throughout many examples in the book. Drawing energy from experiences and from nature can create lasting impressions and memories. Lib Keeter’s chapter Morning Routines inspired me to spend more time reflecting and creating routines that keep me centered. This practice will prepare me to make choices that serve the greater good and to focus on the positive impact we can and should have on others. Be Bold reminded me that regardless of what is going on in our lives and the path we think we are on, we must shed our inhibitions and stay motivated. This enables us to receive the gifts that the universe is offering in order to take care of each other and to spread joy and love.

This compilation is INCREDIBLE! Feeling truly inspired after reading this, and especially connected with Janet Zavala’s chapter 16. I loved her vulnerability and authenticity of how she didn’t always start off living boldly, and really just tried to blend because she never felt like she fit in as a child. Her words hit home for me, and I think anyone that has ever felt like they didn’t belong or didn’t fit in, or if you did fit in, but felt like you had to apologize for being “too bold” needs to read this! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

I have not read all the stories yet, but was impressed with Mel’s story and her philosophy in Chapter 3. This woman has truly endured one medical crisis after another with her own body. Most of us have heard stories on the power of positivity and beliefs in God or whatever your religion may be to get you through difficulties. For Mel it was her belief in happiness and the choice to focus on how to achieve and maintain that happiness. Mel’s story is to share with all how happiness is critical in helping our body heal. I believe in the power of positivity and had not truly focused on how happiness is a major part of that philosophy.

The book is filled with the stories of people who are discovering their truths and purposes by being open to growth and change.

I especially enjoyed reading about four of the stages in Lib’s life in the Morning Routines chapter. Her morning routine seems to set the tone for the coming day of service. Whether that is at the beach or in the mountains, in North America or Africa, I love the way she listens to Spirit and allows it to guide her through the day and toward her next adventure. I am inspired to do the same.

I only started reading the book this morning, but I set all other things aside by the time I got halfway through the first chapter. The author's writing style is straightforward and honest - clearly provides the message rather than flowery superfluous text. I liked it right away. I can tell this is going to be a book that prompts me to pause and reflect on my own life, again and again throughout the read. It has already touched me - I'm looking forward to this one.

This book really fills your soul. You never know what others really go through, until you hear of someone’s personal life experience. These strong, BOLD, courageous, beautiful individuals share their life changing experiences, and give us all valuable lessons to be learned. Chapter 3 really steals my heart. Melanie Cassitta is a beautiful courageous woman who fought cancer. She is an inspiration of glowing positivity who is helping many people fight the fight thru wellness and mindfulness. Be Happy, Not Crappy.

Be Bold’s inspiring personal stories encouraged my own self awareness journey. I’d never thought being my true self as being bold, but what could be more courageous than to truly know and welcome your inner self. These stories inspire self reflection as a means to leading a happier life.
