The primary bathroom in our house and its lack of ventilation have been an issue for us for a couple of years now. The exhaust fan and open windows have failed repeatedly to dry out the room after we take our showers which leaves the room smelling funky and in need of constant cleaning/airing out. We tried this dehumidifier earlier this week and I was blown away by the results. We both shower at night, so we’ve been starting the machine up when the first of us starts our shower and letting it run overnight and in the morning our once-swampy bathroom is bone dry. For reference, we live in the high desert so our results are just from shower steam, I can’t speak to its performance in a naturally humid environment.
It’s very compact, it takes up about as much space on the counter as a 1 pound bag of flour. It is corded, you’ll need an available outlet, which was a little unclear when purchasing. We’ve emptied it everyday but only to avoid having water sitting around, it has the capacity for several more uses. It’s very quiet, undetectable from the adjoining bedroom. I would have no problem sleeping if it were on my nightstand, it’s a very faint white noise.
Overall I’m very happy with this unit, I wish I had thought to buy one sooner!

This is the second one to quit working - only lasted 4 months.
UPDATE - WONDERFUL customer service!! They saw my review, issued refund & provided replacement. That's unheard of these days!First one worked well for a few years & then quit working. I bought a second one in March 2024 and this one quit working already ... Return window has passed, go figure.
