I don’t normal sit around and read books, nor am I a swimmer but I could not put this book down! I had to sit and finish the whole thing! This is an amazing story of incredible woman I wish I knew! The ability to use technology to view her actual interviews and races made it so real as I was reading! An awesome gift for any athlete or anyone who enjoys a good story! Definitely recommend and will be gifting it to my nieces for Christmas!

Katie is so open and honest with everything shard in this book. Getting an inside view to what she was feeling, her process, and how she was inspired to achieve, was really impressive and at times mind blowing. Her story translates to anyone and not just the swimming community. Swimming was her vehicle but we all have our own and we face a lot of similar circumstances. Perhaps not at such an elite level but that’s not the point. I completely enjoyed this book and could not put it down. Thanks to Katie for sharing her story and for all the years she gave us a lot to cheer for on the pool!
