I bought this to lube my riding lawnmower as it has 5 lube locations. This lube gun did the trick. I love the ring it came with to hold the handle in closed position, it saves storage space and grease from accidentally coming out. I took a step further and fed the grease cap through it to manage the long hose.This unit is going to last my lifetime and some.

I found myself needing a new pneumatic grease gun (my old one had given up the ghost). So, after some research, I picked this one. I bought it on Amazon Prime day to save some money and so far it works great. I am a professional mechanic working at a truck maintenance facility and greasing the kingpins and liftgates is very serious business. So far the grease gun works just great! Time will tell if this is a good buy but for now I am satisfied. If you are a weekend shade tree mechanic, this is a good tool. The grease gun does come with a hose and a straight pipe with a cone greaser attachment which I find really handy.

I finally gave in and bought a new grease gun. I've never liked grease guns, until now. It's so much easier when air is doing the pumping for you. The old hand pump style just suck. You have keep purging them to get the air out. This was quick and easy. I got it, opened it up, put a tube in and away I went. I was able to grease my machines in way less time than previous with the old hand pump style. I would suggest stepping up to atleast Pneumatic or battery operated if you haven't already.

Great device. Solid and sturdy construction that you can feel easily. Works perfectly. The only reason I did not give it a five star review rests with its ease of use. Tip and tube are easy to maneuver and lock on, just difficult a bit to pump it. One needs big strong hands. I mean it still can be done by anyone but make no mistake of it, you will recognize its taxing to actually pump it. In its defense though, this si something I have experienced with every manuel grease gun I have ever used. Think the manufacturers would have worked on that.

Oh, do not forget to really tighten down the tub connector and the bleed. They will leak if not tightened down enough.

I wanted to like this grease gun, the first four tubes and put into a tractor was the best operation of a grease gun I ever had. Then it started giving me trouble and now it is useless. I spend so much time fighting with it I could've used a putty knife for a grease zerk and done better. There is a1-800 number on the side of the tube and I might try to call but it's been a couple years since I bought, and the best thing I got out of it was the lock and lube connection that they recommend buying. Do you like wasting a lot of grease and spending hours running air through a gun that delivers no grease? Then this is exactly what you want to buy.

Just to clarify the problems: Plunger doesn't fit into the grease tube well. Bleeding mechanisms don't bleed very well. No matter how well you follow the recommendations on the instructions it will still fail you. Many times I thought I had it started well and then it would stop after a couple of pumps. Then you have to take it apart while it is full of grease.

The air hose connector can't be replaced it's not your standard quarter inch size. But seems to work just fine with my high flow Universal connectors.
Well worth the money if you've ever Grease the vehicle on the ground just need to buy a bigger hose and watch out where the air comes out it hitting me in the ear once did not like that is it does flow decent amount of air through it.

I used the gun several times, and was very pleased. then it stopped working. Took the air cylinder apart; the o-ring seal on the front section of the piston had come out of its groove and was jamming the piston, pinched between the cylinder side wall and piston. It was clear that the o-ring came out of its groove as the piston retracted from a stroke. The cylinder walls were found to be in the as-machined condition, with very fine lathe tool marks making a helical pattern in the cylinder. Kudos to the manufacturers for machining the cylinder, not using a die casting or a bolted extrusion, but they skipped a step - polishing the tool marks out. If the cylinder lubricant is in any way deficient, you can expect rapid o-ring wear or, as in my case, dragging the o-ring out of its groove. The operating instructions call for oiling the cylinder before use, but it clearly had been delivered with a heavy grease lube from the manufacturer. Anyway, I polished the sidewall with 600 grit paper and oil, cleaned it up and put it back together with a slick MOLY grease on the O-rings and extra packed in the piston mid groove. It now works fine, we will see if it holds up-
