I use these at work to email files and put them onto a usb drive with my people out in the field when doing building surveys. It’s more convenient to have a phone than a laptop and hotspot and all that.

One thing to note, With iOS you will get 2 files one that is a supporting data file that has this in front of it “._” you can ignore that file when you import the files. That one is just from the iPhone. The other file is the one you want.

I bought it to see if it would work with connecting an external DAC to my Ipad since I am an Apple Music Subscriber and want to hear the best quality sound they have. Works great with my Ugreen USB C Dongle and Apple lossless sounds fantastic! I'm running it into a Fosi P1 tube preamp and then into my integrated amplifier and the sound is sublime. Very open and airy. 10/10 recommend if you just want to run an external DAC on your apple device. Just be sure that you have a newer device with ios 16 or newer since older apple devices won't feed audio through the lightning port ( I tried with a fully updated iphone 6S Plus and the Apple Dongle) Anyway, it works fantastic for what I need it for.
