Idatalink BLADE-AL Ready
The optional Idatalink BLADE-AL Web-programmable data immobilizer bypass module acts as the middle man between your remote start and the vehicle's computer. It gets inserted within the Compustar CM900 Control Module. This simple, yet powerful piece of hardware makes seamless remote start possible on modern cars, without sacrificing the factory security of your vehicle.
What is a Bypass Module? A bypass module is a piece of hardware that allows the remote starter to mimic your vehicle’s key.
Key Features:
- Universal 'all-in-one' integration cartridge - Integration for Over 4000 Vehicle Models
- Web-programmable data immobilizer bypass and door-lock integration for over 4000 vehicle models from 1997 to date including exclusive KLON firmware applications
- Inserts directly in Blade-compatible remote start, vehicle security and convenience products for seamless integration.
Do I Need a Bypass Module?
If your vehicle was manufactured after the year 2000 and your key has a transponder, then YES you do need a bypass module for remote start. If you’re not sure if your vehicle falls into this category (and it likely does) don’s worry, your installer will be able to advise you.
Bypass modules are truly fascinating pieces of hardware that make modern remote starters possible! If you’re looking for the best remote starter in the industry, look no further than Compustar. Our award-winning systems are reliable and powerful.

Setting up the system was a breeze, thanks to the clear and comprehensive instructions provided. The installation process was straightforward, ensuring a seamless integration with my vehicle's existing electronics. Regardless of your technical skills, this system was designed to be accessible for all users.
One of the standout features is the 2-way remote start functionality. With this bundle, starting your car from a distance is effortless—no more shivering in the cold during those winter mornings or sweating in the scorching summer heat. The remote displays real-time updates, including status notifications, battery voltage, and temperature, ensuring that you stay in control and well-informed.
The alarm system included in this bundle is highly robust and reliable. It offers exceptional protection for your vehicle against theft and break-ins. The system's advanced sensor technology quickly detects any unauthorized attempts, triggering the alarm and alerting you promptly. The loud siren, coupled with customizable alerts, ensures maximum deterrent effect.
Another noteworthy feature is the keyless entry system, providing convenience like never before. Unlocking or locking your vehicle from the remote is as simple as pressing a button. The range of the keyless entry is impressive, allowing me to control my car from a reasonable distance.
Durability is undoubtedly a key concern with any automotive accessory, and the Compustar CS7900-AS exceeds expectations. The materials used are of high quality, ensuring longevity and resilience against the rigors of daily use.
In terms of value for money, this bundle is an exceptional investment. It combines top-of-the-line features, reliable security, and convenient remote start capabilities—all in one comprehensive package. For anyone seeking the added convenience of remote start and the peace of mind that comes with a robust alarm system, the Compustar CS7900-AS offers an unbeatable solution.
In conclusion, the Compustar CS7900-AS All-in-One 2-Way Remote Start and Alarm Bundle is a top-tier option for those looking to upgrade their vehicle's security and convenience. With its impressive range, user-friendly interface, and reliable performance, it is a must-have accessory for any car owner. I highly recommend it without hesitation.
Not going to complain because in the end the installation was very straightforward. For someone (me) with no prior knowledge about remote starters nor alarm systems it was clear enough. A lot of research went into this but it was time well spent.
I particularly used a Blade AL transponder which eliminates a lot of wire connections if you use the CM-900as module (remote starter). You need to go to Idatalink.com and search for your particular Car year and model and get the schematic. While you're there flash your Blade AL to your specific car, year, model, and possibly update your module if given the option. You will also need your specific car model starter wiring diagram. If you're lucky the wires you'll need to connect will be shown on the Blade AL schematic you download from the idatalink website.
NOTE:You need an ADS-USB cable to flash and upgrade your module.
Once you have the schematic it's going to show you which wires go where. Follow this directions. There will be a possible diode 1n4001 that you need to solder (1n4007 will work just fine). Remember ground and the two 12V wires that go to the battery from the module. Read the schematic carefully an extra power source to your module will damage your car electronics. Use common sense.
I read everywhere that I would have to use a relay set up to be able to lock and unlock the doors with the fob that comes with the module. Apparently the lock and unlock functions on my 2006 charger use a single wire BUT if you hook up the module exactly like it's shown on the schematic there won't be a need for that relay set up. Blade AL takes care of that. Don't ask me how but It happened with my 06 charger I didn't hook anything other than the remote start wires and Blade AL bypassed even my existing stock alarm.
Overall I think this is a great remote starter for the money. Many more functions can be added to it. I only wanted lock and unlock without using my key that would trigger the car alarm, not anymore so I'm extremely happy with it. Going to see if I can add other functions like windows down and up via remote.
If you look at the picture that is all the information I needed to make it work on my 2006 Dodge charger rt. I Just added the 2 12v fused lines (red and red/white) and the ground (black cable)
Good luck guys. If I managed to do this so can you.
Third picture (top schematic) is the relay set up I was supposed to use to be able to lock and unlock doors but like I said I didn't need to. If your 2006 Charger doesn't have stock alarm system or even if it does it doesn't guarantee that you won't need to use it.
