I used the LoveHandle grips for years but eventually grew frustrated over how dirty the straps would get, how my phone wouldn’t lay flat on my desk, nightstand, etc., the difficulties of using a magnetic car mount and how I’d have to purchase a new one every time I changed my case and/or upgraded my phone (the last 2 I believe they’ve resolved with their “Pro” option but is still bulky and more expensive), how my phone couldn’t lay flat. Enter the MagOne..
Pro’s:
- No installation! Has a strong magnet that connects to your MagSafe case. The MagOne ring has never come off while in use.
- Can easily remove the MagOne ring and slap it onto a new case.
- The fact it’s low profile allows my phone to lay flat on other flat surfaces.
- Allows me to easily place and remove my phone from my magnetic vent car mount. The magnetic connection is strong enough that it’s never fallen off the mount. What’s even better is that the MagOne ring doesn’t come off of my case and the mount has never budged from the vent it’s attached to while removing my phone (I use the WIZGEAR round magnetic vent car mount. They work amazingly together!).
- Because of the design, you can easily adjust the angle of the grip based on how you’re using your phone instead of only vertically. I usually have mine positioned where the bottom part of the grip is pointing slightly left when being held in my left hand. Need to use the grip of with your phone in horizontal mode? Slide the MagOne off and place it so the grip is horizontal. Regardless of how I’m using my phone, I can adjust the grip so that it’s comfortable.
- It’s supposed to work seamlessly with MagSafe chargers but I don’t use one at the moment but at least I know I can if I decide to get one in the future.
- Comes with 3 different types of grips AND multiples of them. The fact is, the thin and soft silicon that makes it comfortable also makes them prone to stretching and tearing overtime with use. I’ve had to replace one so far in the 6 months I’ve been using it. They also offer packs of replacement grips in the event I ever need more. This also gives me the option to use different colors too! They’re also super easy to replace.
- It also comes with a kickstand! I can adjust the angle I want it at and is sturdy.
- Great value for the versatility and extra grips.
Cons
- And this might be just me being an idiot… but when I bought this, I thought there’d be a piece I’d have to attach using adhesive and was really confused on how to “install it”. I didn’t have a MagSafe case at the time and thought the adapter ring could be attached to my existing case. The instructions that came with it didn’t immediately make it clear to me that it would attach with a magnet directly to the case. I accidentally figured it out when I had my phone out of my case and was fiddling around with it and it suddenly attached to the back of my phone. The magnet in the phone isn’t strong enough though so I ordered a MagSafe case just to use this but haven’t regretted it since.
- Speaking of MagSafe cases, you need one and it limits the cases you can choose from. Additionally, for some reason almost all case manufacturers insist on having a circular decal (if the case isn’t translucent or transparent) with the another dash decal below, I guess so you can easily line up the magnets. I’m not a fan of the way that looks but luckily the MagOne at least covers it the ugly circle. The dash thingie under it is still visible which to me, really ruins designs.
- I ordered the pink one and paint has begun to fade off the ring. I can always touch it up if I want to though or paint it a new color if I want. An option most other grips don’t have.
- Lastly, the pink silicon grips are a different pink than the MagOne ring. It actually works well with my case’s design but will probably get a silver one in the future.
Overall, the cons are minimal and the pro’s make this an amazing grip at a reasonable price!

Multi-angle, Multi-way.
Thanks to the new hinge technology, the New MagOne now more stronger and tighter than the previous version, it's able to provide more angles for almost all situation.
Frequently questions and trouble shooting regarding the ring stand.
Q: Why does the ring won’t stay at any angle I want?
A: The tension of the hinge was technically limited by the slim design, so it will not tight enough for any angle, but enough for most use cases, please follow the above guide for better experience.
Q: How to reposition the stand for portrait mode or landscape mode?
A: Method 1, flip up the outer ring then rotate it to the right mode.
Method 2, remove the ring grip then re-attach at the right mode.
Frequently questions and trouble shooting regarding wireless charging compatibility.
Q: Why does wireless charging not work with the grip stay on?
A: 1). Thickness is really matters to wireless charging, since the grip added extra thickness to the back of the phone, therefore a thin magnet case was required for wirelessly top up.
Please make sure to use a case with less than 1.5mm thickness.
Through our tests, most of products including OtterBox Symmetry Mag series and official Mag case would work well.
2). While you confirm that phone case is not the reason, please make sure that you are using a magnetic wireless charger with a 20W or more (which deliveries 9V-2.22A rating)output wall adapter.
Q: Why does it so slow when wireless charging？
A: We’ve tested that it will take 2-3 hours to fully charge an iPhone 13/12 via Mag charger with the New MagOne stay on (It is slower than charge with the grip removed since the extra thickness of the grip would cause losses of efficiency).
On the other hand, wireless charging output was usually limited (even stopped) when temperature gets high, which means the environment temperature matters, therefore, if you need it faster, please remove the New MagOne before using wireless charging, or charge your phone via cord charger.

Ultra SlimIt is not a tough thing to make a wireless charger compatible phone grip, but things getting much harder if we put magnets in. Therefore the New MagOne was built-in a group of N52 magnets to get highest performance. |
Ultra Finger-FriendlyConsidering the slim and extremely limited space of the product, there isn't much choice except silicone to do the strap job. In order to meet comfortability and durability, the strap is made of liquid silicone which is more durable than normal silicone. The coated finger-friendly material makes it so smooth for slip-in. |
Important Reminders:
- Not compatible with non-magnetic phone cases, it will cause a weak connection.
- Do not forcefully swing your phone with the ring holder on as the company will not responsible for damage from misuse of products, including but not limited to falls or intense movement.
- You don't need to remove the grip when wireless charging, but please make sure: a. Use a magnetic case which thickness no more than 1.5mm (while most of existing products works good through our test, please make sure this when you need the feature work properly.) b. Use a magnetic wireless charger but not normal desktop wireless charging pad. We've tested that most of existing magnetic wireless charger will work well, but if the charger power is too weak, you may need to remove the grip before charging, therefore, a minimum of 20W wall adapter is required.
- We covered a silicone loop pad on the back side of the phone grip, but it still may scratch the back of your phone case. Thus we prepared a film case-back protector to avoid this issue, make sure to stick the film on.
- Please follow the guide to properly remove the ring grip from your phone, incorrect methods may cause damage of the silicone strap.

Big improvements over previous version! Bad Customer Service
**5 STAR PRODUCT** Lack of customer service -2 starsI originally had an older version of this grip which I really liked more than the others I tested (I've tested probably ~15 different finger grips). The issue with it was the coating started to scratch off within a couple days of use. Also one of the straps broke and the outer ring stand became loose. I reached out to EWA support about this issue numerous times and never received a reply which was really disappointing.I was looking forward to trying this new version and it didn't disappoint! It has more of a Cerakote finish which hasn't scratched yet and seems a lot more rugged. It also comes with 5 additional replacement straps (3 different styles shown in the photo attached). I wish the listing was more clear about the additional straps that are included free of charge because I bought two of the circle grips separately (which I did not like as much as the standard band grips).I haven't used the outer ring stand enough yet to know if it will loosen the same as the last one did.The exterior of the circle is also magnetic which is great to use on the MagSafe mount in my car as I don't have to remove the grip to use it.I would give this new updated version a 5 star BUT the company's lack of customer service after the issues that happened with the original grip I had docked this 2 stars.
