    I've read many books by Rumi, and I'm very familiar with his writing and works. This coloring book has some Rumi quotes in big letters (left-aligned) on top of designs (mostly floral). I was hoping to see Persian motifs, since that would have fit the theme better, and personally I would have liked the quotes to have been in the center of the page in a blocked out area instead of on top of the design so I could focus on coloring. This wasn't really for me, but if you collect all things Rumi, you may find some enjoyment coloring this.

    So, I recently got my hands on this coloring book, "A Meditative Journey into Persian Beauty and Rumi's Wisdom," and let me tell you, it's something special. This is not just another coloring book, it's so much more than that.
    First off, the designs in this book are insane. They're all inspired by these beautiful Persian patterns that make you feel like you've been transported to ancient Persia. The level of detail in these designs is crazy, and if you're into coloring, you're in for a treat.

There are these soul-stirring quotes that really get you thinking on each page. So, while you're filling in those intricate patterns, you can also reflect.     Wow! I find it a very good idea for Rumi's quotes to be the central elements of the book; indeed, the quotes are very good, sublime, and well-chosen. The coloring pages are beautiful and I really like the book cover!

    I enjoyed the illustrations of this book. They are highly detailed and varied. I didn't find the quotes to be that helpful, though. They seemed to be hackneyed and outdated. I realize they are from an old philophy, so some people are likely to appreciate them, but they weren't for me.
