For some reason, my scalp causes build up on my hairbrush after even brushing it once. It’s even worse now that I have linen sheets since all the lint from the linen is everywhere at all times. As other reviewers have mentioned, cleaning the lint that builds around the base of each bristle takes forever - i used a combination of my good tweezers—cheapy tweezers would not have sufficient precision or grip to be successful—and a toothbrush to dislodge the lint, slide up, and try to slide it over the rounded end of the bristle. It would take FOREVER. Not anymore!! With this bad boy, I brush my brush for 30 seconds, and my brush is CLEAN. Yes, sometimes i have to brush in both horizontal and vertical directions, but it is still effective. I try to clean my brush now after each use so the lint doesn’t build up. Yes, the lint transfers in to the cleaning brush, but I can just grab it off and throw it in the trash can. The whole process takes one minute TOPS. It’s SO much better than taking an hour to clean my brush or saying f— it, imma be wasteful and buy another brush. I highly recommend this product.
