I’ve been in a reading slump for a while now and let me tell you that War is exactly what I needed!
I devoured this book and then got so emotional when it was all over!
Everything about this book is absolutely perfection, the banter, the spice, the love, the found family, the emotion, the adorable kids - everything was perfect. 🥺❤️
A chance encounter leaves a bad taste in Ava’s mouth when it comes to Tyler Warren.

And of course, there were moments I was fanning myself with that SPICE! This story broke my heart & then put it back together again in the best ways - I devoured this within a night. The sacrificed sleep was worth it because these two are perfect.War is about Tyler Warren, a star defenseman for the Boston Bolts. He might have a reputation of being a playboy but not everything is as it seems. When he meets Ava, the new community lead for the Bolts, he falls head over heels but after his priorities leave her feeling like another woman on War's long list, they both write each other off with misunderstandings & miscommunications left between them. For two years, they went head to head battling each other, War doing everything he could to piss Ava off. But when War needs help adopting the child that Ava has also fallen in love with, Ava jumps in to lend a hand - or rather her ring finger as they enter into a marriage of convenience.Tyler is my new favorite bolt - he's emotionally vulnerable, super charming & a complete cinnamon roll at his core. The growth he goes through brought so many tears to my eyes & completely gutted me. The story with the kids is on another level that will tug at your heartstrings. His words get lost but his actions speak so loud & when he shows Ava and the kids how much he truly cares for them - SWOON on another level.Ava has her own journey that is unique & surprising but has made her into this strong & compassionate force.
