Used these inside most of my wallets, family wallets, and now friend wallets.

As a pentester, you get to learn a lot, lot of things that could go south if someone with evil intentions was to make use of the knowledge, and because of that I ended getting these. Normally card readers would not penetrate the width of a leather wallet, but under some circumstances and with some devices that could be the case. For those instances, these proven effective on my tests and even my high gain antenna setups proved unfruitfull and received all sorts of gibberish when used alongside my cards.

If they are cheap enough for you, these wont hurt to have and will give you an extra layer of security!

Works great. Wanted to wait to do a review till I tested it a couple of times. I only use one card and blocks it from reading through my wallet. I have a bifold wallet and isn't very thick. Tested it with cards and also RFID door locking sensors. Seems like the best for the money and also get to use my regular wallet.

I tested it and it seems to work fine. Ultimately it is like trying to evaluate a negative. The desire is that you do not get hacked, but we really will only know if it fails! (I have faith though!)

A device that would ALSO alarm on attempted hacks would definitely be something I would likely buy if the price were right! In the meantime...

Successful testing with a handheld NFC reader.

I placed an NFC enabled credit card in a new wallet. I confirmed I could read the NFC chip from outside of the wallet with a FlipperZero, a cybersecurity tool with NFC scanning functionality.
I placed one protector card in the wallet protecting one side of the credit card. I confirmed I could no longer scan the NFC chip on that side of the wallet, and can still scan on the opposite side of the wallet.

I placed the second protector card in the wallet on the opposite side of the credit card. I now cannot scan the NFC chip within my credit card from either side of the wallet.

I also tested with the credit card flat on a table and the protector card on top of the credit card, with the scanner then directly on top of the protector card. I cannot scan the NFC chip within the credit card. I have to slide the protector card about 1/3 of the way downward before a scan is successful.

For those unfamiliar, it's good to know when buying this product that NFC chips can only be read with scanners when the scanner is about 2-3" from the chip.

These are marketed to respond to an RFID call and return a response that confuses the card reader. they do it well . I Tested this in several configurations with several Credit card readers , phone case with several cards in could be read easily via a touch reader - place 1 blocker card anywhere in the others and the cards couldn't be read . same effect on reading cards from a wallet and purse. No battery's needed , the card seems quite substantial and you don't have to have a bulky "faraday cage" protector "sock" to keep your cards secure . Just remember it also means that touch payment will be blocked if you are used to using cards in a phone case store to pay
