    As a more "entry-level" electrical tester, this Klein is of excellent quality, well protected with a rubber outer-coating, easy to locate as the protective material is orange in color. In addition, the probes have protectors and are thin enough to fit in tight locations such as electrical sockets to secure voltage/continuity readings. It is also well-protected from "mistakes" achieved by selecting the wrong setting such as measuring AC when the selector is set for DC! The protection is through being well fused! The only difference between this and some very expensive testers are more "auto-ranging" whereas this unit wants you to select 2 volts, 20 volts, 200 volts or 600 volts. NOT A BIG DEAL in my opinion!

    The product itself is well made. knob settings feel good. the only issue i have and it is a major one is i should have looked at the settings. the feature i need is not available on it. AC voltage has a 600 and 200 settings. i need 20. so the reading i need does not show up on it. i would have not purchased it because of this. every multi-meter i purchased in the past has this setting except this one.
