These magnets are really strong! They have a little bit more than 2.5 lbs of holding force. I've embedded them in my 3d printing and laser-cutting projects to act as an attachment mechanism.
In the pictures I've included, you can see that a single magnet is able to hold a 2.5 lb Barbell and that 2 magnets are able to hold a 5 lb Barbell. Hence, I claim that they each have at least 2.5 lb holding force.
Be aware though that they can break very easily. You don't even want to carelessly pull them apart from one another in a stack because the torque on a single edge can cause it to break. (It's fine for them to pull apart as long as all the sides have equal pressure - such as when the magnet is glued to something else)
The best way to remove them from each other is to use your fingernail to get in between them and then slide one off horizontally instead of pulling it straight off the top vertically.
Great value for the money! Would definitely buy again!
