I used the cart I built to haul a 113# piece of petrified wood a mile through a wooded area of a creek to my truck. The route I took was covered with leaves, dead limbs and a few wet areas. The wheels did great. In one place I had to turn the cart sharply and saw the spokes flex on one of the wheels but didn’t damage it.

We got these tires to replace the old ones on my yard cart. I bought my yard card back in 1994 and it had one of the original tires and one bicycle wheel! Both would not stay aired up. Using these wheels, bearings, and rod for a modified cart. These are not being used as replacements for a Rubbermaid cart, but instead are being used to augment a different brand toolbox with small wheels. These wheels are large enough to traverse rougher terrain. The rod and bearings work well to hold the wheels in place. A slight modification of the rod is required to fit (cut to length and drill holes for a cotter pin for removal and installation). These are heavy duty and add a bit of weight to the toolbox assembly, however, the sturdiness of the assembly allows for heavier loads.
