Small Business Marketing Must Read
I own a small business and have very little time to explore new ways to run my business, let alone read. I did receive an advanced copy of this book and started to see if this was something down my alley. This book is a must read. I have a credible brand and I found it super relatable to what I was going through in my marketing efforts and started learning new tactics, right away. Some of the approaches that I took to ramp up my business is not relevant today. Knowing your time is valuable and hopefully billable is a lesson I wish I knew back then. The author broke everything down into small steps to what mysteries are behind different marketing approaches. I would gladly lend it out, but I have made notes all throughout it. I am giving this a 5-star review even though a perfect score doesn’t always help-You’ll find out why when you read the book. :)

    I bought this book expecting to learn a lot. And did I! This woman knows of what she speaks. Anyone running a service business should buy this book to learn how their business could run better and not be taken in by the big marketing website companies. Be assured that the author is not trying to sell ineffective services or products. She’s intent on educating service owners about effective ways to acquire new customers and also keeping those customers satisfied with one’s service. “The Credible Brand” goes well beyond the usual simplicities of dealing with social media so that a service owner can become an active, informed, successful operator among all the online purveyors of hype and misinformation.

    I was wonderfully aware of this book during pre-release and have already read, learned, and began to implement the principles on my business brand. I find that most of the material available on building a successful brand is either dated or does not apply in my space. This book contains real-world examples of current brand success and translates some of those old (but good!) business ideas into modern effective language that will resonate with today's leaders. Buy it, read it, read it again, and then (like I did) get another copy for anyone you want to succeed in business.

    I received an advanced copy of this book, and was able to fly through it in just a couple of days. It is such a great resource for small businesses to get a handle on their marketing with really practical and implementable tools.
    We overcomplicate marketing and this book does a great job of simplifying so you are actually reaching your goals, like generating leads, and not just pumping out content with no plan!
    I highly recommend this book for small business owners and marketing beginners.
