    Just a heads up, if you have a large chest, the chest straps will not fit you. I went out and bought some 3/8” webbing and sewed myself some new ones. For the brand, I’d suggest fixing this in the bag for future customers.

    Second, there are loops on the back of the bag for elastic pass through, so I picked some up and just threaded it through. I like the neon :)

    Weird that they didn’t just do that themselves, unless it’s for something else but there are already lash points on the back of the bag elsewhere.

    Last, I haven’t tested the water resistance as I was hoping it’s near waterproof. We’ll see

    I give it 3 stars based on initial build quality, weight and thoughtful design. Unfortunately, it is manufactured for folks of small stature. For reference, I am 5'11" with an athletic build. My chest is 45". I am not able to clasp the sternum straps - not even close. The shoulder straps are too short overall, negating some of the usefulness of the harness-like design. Surprisingly, the waist strap has room to spare.

    The volume is adequate for a 1 or 2-night trip assuming you're ultralight. I am able to fit my quilt, pillow, pad and z-packs solo tent with room to spare for kitchen, food and water.

    It's a shame because this pack has lots of potential. I think it could be perfect for someone under 5'8" with a chest less than 40". Ultimately, I have decided to return it.

    I’m an average sized guy (5’ 10” 175lbs) and I can’t fasten the chest strap even with it all the way out, so I haven’t used this pack. I might be able to do some modifications to make it work but meh. It looks like it would be a nice pack though. Love all the pockets and the main storage. Shame it’s for smaller folks.

    One of my favourite packs now. Bought for pacing a 200 mile race and for other unsupported adventures. Now it's my goto hike /run pack when I need more than my Salomon 12L can carry. Can't beat the price for this type of pack. Can run with it without bouncing. Only things I wish were better would be deeper pockets on the front, longer soft flask pockets, and an elastic at the top to keep them secure. I plan on adding shock cord myself and I find non-Salomon flasks work better, or just don't fully fill the Salomon.
