Hot Cuppa Murder: The 50/50 Series; A Katie Kingston Mystery Kindle Edition
In most ways, Katie is just your average twenty-something; she has a great group of friends, owns a coffee shop and fosters pets. But Katie has a secret, a magic ring that her missing father left to her...though it only works about half the time.
Katie and her team are getting ready to compete in a big coffee contest for an even bigger prize, and chances are looking pretty good, until tragedy strikes. When her competition is found dead in her shop and the police start suspecting her, Katie knows she must figure out who is responsible and why. As her past and present begin to collide, Katie discovers her ring is more than just a fun trinket, and she must race to find answers to questions about herself she didn't even know she had. Can Katie get the answers she needs before she is arrested, or winds up dead? Find out and get to know Katie and her friends in the first book of The 50/50 Series; A Katie Kingston Mystery today!

About the author

As a child, Kimberly Walker always had her nose stuck in a book. This caused multiple bruises until her mother banned walking and reading. Finding so much love in words herself at a young age, she hoped to be able to show other kids how much fun reading can be.
Working as a newspaper writer and doing various writing and art-for-hire jobs she honed her craft, and now, many, many, many (shhh stop giggling) years later she is living her dream. Working with monsters was a natural fit as she was always a fan of the monster community.
Kimberly finds combining the fun of illustrating fabulous characters and empowering little monsters of all kinds through the Monster Guides to be the best kind of work there is. She can be found in her office on her daybed working and covered with pets. Kimberly lives in Texas with her husband and editor Chester, dogs Mackenna Ellie and Maddy, and the feline King of the Castle, Pleakly
