Read this review, pretty good
One thing I was afraid of is re-applying and stretching it out too much where I'd have to give up and get a new piece. These don't stretch too much if you're not overly careful which is good.For future reference definitely get an application liquid spray, and definitely do it in a shaded area or cloud cover on a cool day. I had to undo my work several times, and with someone else holding the other end. The reason for shaded area is that application fluid will dry up real quick and you run the risk of stretching it too much, which will give you ripples and uneven application.I put it on my 2015 Prius V and it's basically invisible. The only time you'll notice it is when dirt gets on the edge, normal for anything.I have pressure washed my car about 3 times now even directly at the edge and nothing has budged at all. Not a single time has it been forced off by water, spraying at about a foot and a half to 2 feet away. I don't recommend shooting water directly at it at all but just saying, it's a solid product edge to edge.I would definitely spray both the bumper and the vinyl very very well when applying.I would first definitely clean the bumper at a self serve, then after that dries I'd be using some 90% alcohol and an old clean shirt or clean rag and wipe the entire area clean before applying.There is only one single small area on the bottom that still had a small amount of microbial air stuck in, super super small, and I used a vynil squeegie over it, it was gone in no time at all.Next project of mine will be to apply every door outside and window inside with the 3M smash proof / Bullet proof 12 mil thick clear vinyl, that will stop shoppers from dinging up my sides for sure, and definitely protect me from breakins and an occasional attemped robbery or road rage mishap

After searching for pre-made sole protection, I decided to try this product. 3M is a great manufacturer so I went for it. Just take your time. Use a hair dryer to remove the stickers from your shoes. Wash your hands. Clean the soles to remove any oil and glue residue. I used a little Dawn, cotton pad and a wet and dry paper towel. Make a stencil. Only need one, turn it over, one side is Left, the other side is Right. Perfect the stencil. Cut an additional 1/2" or so, so the film goes into the instep. The film is on the soles in the photos. The adhesion appears great. Just start at the top. Rub down and to the sides as you slowly remove the paper. If you need to adjust, try not to touch the sticky side of the film with your fingers. Use the paper. It took longer to trace and cut than it did to install. I only used 6 inches of film. Looks great. We'll see how it wears.
