Cannot Rave About This Novel Enough!

It is an extremely unique setting - a Florida retirement community - filled with mischievous characters who are personable and enticing. I was enthralled from the first paragraph and I devoured it in a day, dying to find out what would happen.

The mystery was interesting and I couldn't wait to solve it, but enjoyed the journey to the truth. I laughed out loud numerous times and it was one of my best reads of the year.

Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed the plot of this book and the characters, especially Suzy ,were well thought out and enjoyable. I also enjoyed that it was set in Lakeland FL as I live there. However, the book is hard to follow because of the writing, mostly the words that were not well chosen and didn't fit the sentences they were placed in. Overall, I would recommend it as you do grow to love the characters and want to find out what happens to them. Perhaps a proof reader or editor could help because the author has writing potential.

I was intrigued by the setting- everyone hears about these FL mobile home retirement communities. The characters were very interesting and likable. There was a good plot, had suspense, and a happy ending. I live in Bend which is a big retirement community. I enjoyed seeing the sense of friendship and caring in this FL mobile home community. I don’t see that it the $1+million retirees homes here. Good fun book!

It has been the most engaging book I have read and reread. I grew up in Lakeland and live in a 55+ community in FL and this book nailed it! I love how the author has written the way the characters actually speak. I have encountered some of these characters in my community and others around the area! The antics and activities had me rolling on the floor laughing. I have seen things like it! I’m dying for the next book to come out so I can check my theories from the clues I mapped!! Wake Up, Earl!!! Are we going for pizza?

A unique and interesting style combined with a compelling plot makes ‘Florida Retirement Is Murder’ a worthwhile read. Stewart , a reluctant addition to a Florida retirement community soon becomes part of the “Family” as he is approved by several retired ‘individuals’ in his new home. Along with developing friendships with some quirky residents he is soon intrigued and caught in several murders and mysteries within the small seniors compound! To make matters more challenging Stew soon alienates both the people in charge of running the community but also the local security and police force! Follow Stewart and his mismatched band of compatriots as they try to resolve the murders and the underlying evil motives threatening the entire community.
