For years I waffled between Keurig, Nespresso, Drip coffee and as a result I bought 1000 $6 lattes instead. I finally pulled the trigger on this and an electric kettle and my whole morning has changed. Shell out a little extra for this quality product. Looks great, makes delicious coffee. Keep the little booklet. Buy this.

I use this French press for coffee. I’ve read it can also be used for loose leaf tea so I look forward to trying it!

I tend to only drink 1 to 2 cups of coffee at a time. I had bought a 12 cup drip coffee maker from Target but returned it to get this French press instead.

Pros: Small countertop footprint. The 21 ounce size is perfect for 1 or two mugs of coffee at a time. Very little plastic, all glass and metal interior touching your coffee other than the plastic vent at the top when you pour. Very good seal, no grounds leaking into my coffee. Performs well and is exactly what I wanted for my coffee set up!

Cons: None for me! Good quality especially for the price. If you want more than 2 mugs of coffee at a time, a larger size would be better for you.

Besides looking very attractive, it is easy to make an outstanding cup of coffee (or two or three if you like small cups). For me it is easy to rinse out and clean the mesh filters. If there are any grounds in between the mesh or disks, loosen the assembly a bit and the grounds can be flushed out.

The glass material is the same as used in beakers, test tubes, et al—it withstands high heat but is fragile. So, you don’t want to use any metal implements inside. Understand that you’re not ‘pressing’ out the coffee. The plunger is only used to ‘push’ the grounds to the bottom..

I don’t understand the issue of dripping or water in between the metal and the glass. I would not put the glass in a dishwasher—there’s no need. Nor would I submerge it into water.

I've always been intrigued by French Presses. This one had great ratings on tons of reviews, at a decent price, so I gave it a go.

Super easy to use. No filter papers to worry about running out of. Heat up your water to 190-205 ish. Pour grinds in. Mix a bit. Let steep 3-4 minutes. I give it another mix. Then put the press cap on and press. Nice and smooth. The filter apparatus pushes the coffee to the bottom, the go juice flows up through the filter dealie, then pour yourself some Breaking Bad "tight tight tight" worthy cofeve.

Given the coffee I already had ground was very fine, I got a very fine layer of sediment at the bottom of my cup. Nothing at all grainy I could detect, just a fine silt at the bottom of my cup. This was MY fault. The instructions very clearly point out to use a coarse grind. I wanted to use it immediately upon delivery and just what I coffee I already had ready to go.

I loved it. Daughter loved it. So easy to use, will definitely be retiring my Aeropress.

If I have any regrets at all, it's going with the 21 ouncer rather than the 34 ouncer. The 21 ouncer version made two nice cups. Perfect for me, but I like BIG cup of coffee. Daughter does too when she visits, so the 21 oz version was a tiny bit short for our two "regular" servings. I'd almost recommend the 34 ouncer for everyone (was a $1 cheaper when I purchased, but still went with 21oz, because I rarely have company). If ya get the 34 oz size, ya can make 3-4 servings in one go. If ya need less, make less, it all works the same.

I really wanna make up another batch, but I'd be running around like Cornholio if I drank more today.

Is a Keurig, quicker and easier? Yes. But if you are you are a coffee fiend, this is the way to go. You control your grind, water temp, and strength. If ya travel, ya can stick this joker in your suitcase.

Big fan here. 5 stars all around.

I hope this review helps with your French Press purchase decision making.

    Be well. Take care. :)

Yes, the press is good coffee. I still pour though a filter to cup. Helps me from 10 cups a day caffeine drunk. Grind up boil up MMMM burp up the taste.

I love the look of this product! Only complaint is that periodically the top will get a little unscrewed and become loose from the press part, but it’s easy to fix. Use it daily and I love it!

Like - that it works and presses the coffee without getting any grinds into the coffee you drink. The design is well made, coffee tastes great - highly recommend for a personal 2-3 cup coffee press, super good for when you have guests and each person can make the coffee as strong or as weak as they like it. The press can come apart for simple cleaning.

    Dislike - nothing - it's all good.

I was looking for a single serve French Press and this is everything and more. It could probably be used for two servings as I only fill the canister half way up for my use. It's super easy to use, clean and pour and, the coffee is excellent!! Have I mentioned how Classically Cute it is?! Super Stylish with the copper and, I hand wash; takes minutes. Highly Recommend!!

I bought this to replace the Mr. Coffee French press that I’ve had for years. The top plastic piece of the strainer had broken, and I got tired of trying to rig it. I think the height they give for the Bayka is incorrect, because I thought it’d be bigger. The Mr. Coffee is a bit bigger, as you can tell from the pics. However, with this beautiful, smaller version I still get a large 1-1/2 mugs of coffee which equates to almost 3 cups (remember the grounds take up some space).

You do need to stir the grounds as they explain in the instructions that come in the box. I like the safety top lid which requires you to turn it to get the full pour option. It’s easy to clean and comes with extra strainer parts. I don’t think it stays as hot, as long as the Mr. Coffee glass did. Either way, the Bayka provides me a consistently great cup of coffee, and is easy to pour from and esthetically pleasing to look at.
