    I started using these for the Chevy Express / generic box/utility vans in the rear box for the cargo light switch. Many of the fiberglass body companies are really good at structure and design of the body but seem to lack resources in their electrical management. The switch in the box is usually an inset, screw-in, toggle switch with a lever. Not bad when there’s time for the delivery but tends to be in the perfect spot for a pallet jack to smash the switch into the body which also makes the hole that the mounting plastic goes in bigger making replacement a nightmare. This switch is compact, installs in the 1/4” space where a traditional lever-type toggle switch fits and clicks when the function changes, providing a tactile feedback that you did indeed press the button. The switch sits nearly 1/16” above the surface so it is essentially flush-mounted and it looks good too. There is a lighted option for this as well. I bought 3 but will be stocking these at my shop moving forward.
