Ceylon cinnamon is rare and expensive. Commonly available cinnamon is not true Cinnamon. Ceylon true cinnamon spice is produced from dried inner bark of Cinnamomum zeylanicum syn. C. verum tree. This plant is indigenous to Sri Lanka (formerly Ceylon). This cinnamon powder is prepared using premium grade Ceylon cinnamon sticks from Ceylon. The grinding process is controlled under low temperature to keep freshness, taste as well as chemical properties of powdered cinnamon. Output particle size is less than 0.15mm. Sifted through very fine mesh. Ceylon true cinnamon powder is a superior replacement for common applications of cinnamon ground. Very fine powder is allowed you to mix with your food or drink easily. Sri Lanka is the motherland of Ceylon cinnamon. The country was named as Ceylon until its commonwealth in 1972. From ancient centuries, this Asian country is known as a popular destination for top grade spices. Cinnamon from Sri Lanka is known as Ceylon cinnamon. This is the same product called as True cinnamon, Sweet cinnamon, Pure cinnamon, Mexican cinnamon (Canela En Polvo, Canela De Ceylon/ Ceilan), etc. Sri Lanka does not cultivate or produces other cinnamon varieties such as Cassia. 90% of global true cinnamon supply comes from Sri Lanka. True cinnamon contains only a traceable amount of Coumarin. We are Ceylon cinnamon growers. This true cinnamon is sourced from our cultivation in Southern province of Sri Lanka. The sourced plantations are located and the product is prepared and packed in Sri Lanka. Note:The taste of Ceylon cinnamon is differ than other commonly available cinnamon. You may feel less strong/ less sweet taste with Ceylon cinnamon. But, Ceylon cinnamon is important due to its ultra-low coumarin content.
