Donna is a native of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and is a graduate from Duquesne University with a master’s degree in Instructional Technology in the class of 2011. She enjoys using her skills giving step by step instructions in cooking and preparing delicious homemade and semi-homemade meals. Donna’s passion and cooking skills were inherited from her mother, which influenced her to create this cookbook and is the reason why she started her YouTube Channel.

I have been married for 28 years, to my husband Anthony, who is also a published author, and I raised three sons and a granddaughter which are all grown now. Cooking was a big part of my life, preparing meals for family and friends. After my mom passed away in 2020, my house became the place where family and friends would gather for holiday meals. A lot of the recipes in this book are signature dishes of my mom’s, so I hope you enjoy these recipes, and if you try some please leave a review, it will mean a lot to me to know that others are enjoying my mom’s recipes.

Flavors with A Twist is designed for At Home Chefs. This means that we are not certified as chefs or hold any type of degree in culinary. But through our own experiences and numerous years of cooking for our family, friends, or that special someone, we can gladly hold the title of At Home Chefs.
