Threads aren't cut straight.
When twisting these lug nuts on to lugs. They do not thread on straight. They wobble around off center very noticeably as you turn themThe threads were cut incorrectly. I would never trust these to hold the wheels on my car.And they will be returned.This is not just a defect with one of them. I tried on 10 and found the same problem when everyone.These are a cheap clone of Muteki's SR48 Open End Lug Nuts. Which unfortunately cannot be found on Amazon.The real ones only costs 20 bucks more. More than worth the cost of having your wheels fall off.

I ordered 19mm hex, but received 17mm. Also, the threads are not tapped straight. After testing one lug on an uninstalled ARP stud, the tip was not centered in the open end of the lug nut, which explains the bit of resistance when threading. I returned the shipment immediately and I'm afraid to order from Mikkuppa again.

I used these to mount an external license plate to the spare tire. I would not use these lug nuts to hold wheels on. Out of 20, there were TWO which were not warped so badly that they would be un-usable.

The threads are soft, and the material used is so cheap that they warped to the point it would not make a secure attachment.

I rarely leave negative reviews if at all possible, but please don't use these unless on a show car or to hold something other than wheels in use on your vehicle.
