- Reviewed in the United States on December 10, 2024Andre Ward was a bit overlooked throughout his career. He was never boisterous or a must see interview. I'm so glad that I read his story to understand the man and fighter better. Boxing fans must read.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 22, 2024I have the honor of attending the same church as Minister Andre and his wife Minister Tiffanie. His mother Madeline is one of my sisters in Christ. They are an amazing family. What an amazing testimony Minister Andre, along with his wife and his mother. has. This book will bless you if you read it and I highly recommend you read it. Against all odds Minister Andre became an Olympic champion and an undefeated champion boxer. But the most important thing in his life that Insee is the anointing God has put on him and Minister Tiffanie. He is a loving husband. father, and son. Minister Tiffanie is a loving wife, mother and daughter. They love Jesus and walk the walk. I encourage anyone who thinks they can’t get through something because they are living a fast life, read this book. Look at what God did in all their lives. All the glory to God! This is one of the best true stories of an athlete’s life I have ever read. God is good. He never left Minister Andre and God gets us where we need to be if we have eyes to see and ears to hear. Well done Minister Andre, Minister Tiffanie and Madeline! It’s an honor to know you and call you brother and sisters! God bless and please keep writing!

Got this book for my mother. She's not a boxing fan in the least. But she's woman of God and I knew she would love his story. My mother got this book and could not put it down. She knows nothing about Boxing but she loved Andre's story nevertheless.
Pros
My mother LOVES it. She loves the story, battles, and finding of God through adversity.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 21, 2023This is an excellent write up going over Andre Ward's early life and career. There is much to learn from his life. From overcoming anger from growing up in a broken home, to finding escape from self made conflict, to managing becoming a teenage father, all while mustering the strength and resolve to become one of the greatest boxers of all time, his story is inspiring. He mentions working with and fighting boxers that had more natural talent than him. To overcome this he utilized discipline, hard work, and a persistent faith in God. An excellent read for men of all ages.

5.0 out of 5 stars Kann es kaum weglegen

5.0 out of 5 stars Mi ha fatto scoprire il vero Ward
