I thought was gonna be more of a help book but it was more about how the author over came some really hard things. I really connected with this book on so many different levels because parts of my life even now are so hard and dark. I liked that this book has different parts to it and how the author talks coming out of the darkness and finding the light.     Our author sets a great tone for the book making sure the reader knows that this is not advice from a licensed therapist. This is an account of her journey and her gift to the reader giving them the tools for their own healing process. Keep in mind that spiritual journeys are different for each person. Our backgrounds in religion, what church (if any) we were raised in, our family history – those sorts of things will make your journey yours and yours alone. This book follows our author on her twenty-year spiritual quest that took her through the Santeria religion and beyond.

    I enjoy that the author candidly speaks about her journey. She is real. She is open to helping others. Her writing style is straightforward and honest, almost like a personal diary. She is insightful and relatable. She puts words on paper that pulled out thoughts from my brain and heart that I never thought I would have. I like being challenged. This book will take you outside of organized religion and introduce you to things that you are not used to and that’s ok. In my house is OK to NOT be OK. Think and grow and learn. These three things are always welcome.

    Journey of a Radiant Heart is true journey of loss, regret, self-awareness and acceptance. Any human being can relate to these feelings and the struggle to understand and navigate through the world. I appreciate her perspective and vulnerability in sharing her knowledge. Not only does she explain life changing events, she also shares step by step the tools she gained and implemented into her life. She explained grounding and breaking soul ties. She showed actual instances of raising your frequency and their outcomes. She gave great ending points that invite you to open your heart to a radiant journey.
