- Reviewed in the United States on August 5, 2017I recently picked up an older version of this book while shopping at my local Goodwill (10,000 Dreams Interpreted, 20th printing, Rand McNally & Co. 1991). I was interested enough in reading it to buy this revised and updated edition. Comparing the two, there have been many of the original entries changed and a ton of new ones added. For instance, there is now an interpretation for 'Disco'. One of the big differences between the two books that favor the older version, is that there is a 40 page preface in the book from 1991 that goes into some depth concerning dreams and understanding them. The newer book just has a short 10 page introduction that gives a more abbreviated summary of the material. Also, the older book has an index of the back of the book that speeds up finding what you're looking for.
All in all I'm happy with my purchase (of both books). I get weird dreams at times and it's fun to try to see if my subconscious is actually trying to tell me something.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 15, 2024Writing an honest review for this book because I wish I had read this before getting it. It feels like someone plugged the dictionary into chatgbt and asked it for quick dreams interpretations. Words like, sauerkraut and salmonella are in there lol not only that but the short description for salmonella is for prosperous health? It's more funny than it is real. The descriptions are very simplistic, you could have come up with them on your own. It's inexpensive so not a huge loss but if you're looking for something more helpful, and intelligent... This isn't it.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 1, 2024My son had questions about his dreams and I bought this book for him to help interpret what they could mean. It is fun to look things up with him.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great present but came a little damaged
Present for my mum and it looks pretty detailed! Only issue is it came with a little bit of damage on the spine, there’s a chip in it but it’s not worth returning since it came from US.
