The GEARWRENCH 84 tooth ratchets provide a 4.3 degree ratcheting arc, enabling users to turn a fastener in tighter confines. The ratchet heads are low profile and feature an enclosed head design for extreme resistance to dirt infiltration. They are made from premium alloy steel and feature a full polish chrome finish that resists rust and corrosion. They are a must have for every tool box.

This is a review from someone who uses this product multiple times a day. So trust me when I say this is a truly durable ratchet. Working in injection molding and conducting daily mold changes it is used and used hard. It's been used as a hammer, with a braker bar, to take out stuck bolts, and many more task that other ratchets have failed at. I have purchased 2 of these and only because I gave the old one to a younger guy who couldn't afford a new one, and the old one is still going strong it has outlast snap on ratchets that are 4 times the price. If you need a long handle 1/2 in drive ratchet look no further this is the one for you.

I have the 120 tooth flex heads for 1/4 and 3/8. Those are really good for tight or awkward spaces but the flex heads tend to flop when I need to apply torque.

So I bought this one is for everything else - no flex head means it isn't jumping around on you and a long handle gets the extra power needed
