Brian Matambo (1978) was born in Chililabombwe, Zambia, to Zambian parents. He did his primary education at Kamenza Basic School, and his secondary school education at Chililabombwe High. His resilience paid off but he considers himself a work in progress. He began his coaching journey in 2007 and wrote a family finance parenting manual that did not get published.

Eventually he completed his first book in ebook form titled #SME_101: preparing for the marketplace. He is married with two kids. He currently lives in Kafue town south of Lusaka, the capital of Zambia,
