This is exactly what I was looking for. The handle should not be "active" or you can't get a tight wrap. This one is stationary and the smooth cardboard makes it easy to move through your hand. Use for wrapping gifts to send in mail, or to secure items for moving or for a donation center, or to pack seasonal items away. Prevents breakage by securing bubble wrap tightly.

Worked perfectly for all our moving needs. I did end up wrapping my thumb in painters tape, as the cardboard handle started to irritate my hand a bit after LOTS of wrapping. Also, it does get a little tougher to spin towards the end of the role since it’s not on a roller, but that was easily remedied by simply holding both ends of cardboard tube while spinning rather than just the handle side. Can’t beat it for quality, amount, and price. Will buy again.

I use this to bundle things I would usually use Duct Tape. This does the same job and does not leave a residue. A lot cheaper and the used pieces c I recycle with single use bags. Duct tape would have to be thrown away and contribute to landfill.
