Bought this as a replacement for my very old HSI flat iron. It straightens my hair very well and leaves it shiny. Has a variety of temperatures to pick from, easy to turn on with button, a bright light to let you know it's on, and not heavy.

One major flaw I've noticed is that strands of my hair get stuck in the plates (between the plastic section and where the plate starts at the top) and pulls/rips my hair. Doesn't feel too good. I've gone through so many flat irons and have never come across one that catches my hair like this, so it's quite frustrating! But otherwise it works well.

**I'll try to add a picture later of where it catches my hair. I've been using it for a few months now - I've tried using smaller sections, going slower, everything I can think of, and it stills rips my hair. Had to move my stars down from 4 to 3 due to this.
