Product Description
THE SUPERIOR TIRE SEALANT ON THE MARKET – Sahara is a high-speed and slow-speed product designed for high speed vehicles and industrial equipment tires. Sahara reduces the operating temperature of the tire leading to improved fuel economy. Prevents air loss by sealing around puncture-creating objects (nails, bolts, glass etc.) up to ½” or 1.3 cm in diameter, while a combination of biodegradable fibers stop moisture from entering the steel belt area. Stops air loss and retains correct pressure by sealing the entire casing from normal casing porosity. Improves the seal over buffed areas. Reduces heat buildup in tires. Balances wheel end assembly. Protects the casing from heat, oxidation and UV damage. Dissipates tire chamber heat so that tires run cooler. Does not pool to the bottom or block the valve system. Absorbs moisture. Performs with compressed air and Nitrogen. Approved for use with TPMS. Helps retain casing integrity. Continually self-seals punctures up to ½” (1.3 cm) in diameter. Stops Bead/Rim/O-ring and Vent leaks. Washes out easily. Added safety for recapped tires. Operates between -58°F to 370°F (-50°C to 188°C). Non-toxic and biodegradable high grade chemical. Does not freeze. Stallion Sahara is a high and slow speed medium viscosity product and therefore the tire has to be completely deflated before installation. Position the valve stem at 2 o’clock or at 10 o’clock. It is TPMS safe but some TPMS have a small inlet so you may have to break the bead for installation. We have tried our best to accommodate all types of TPMS valves and sometimes it is beyond our control and therefore we urge you to contact us immediately for assistance and support. We are connected nation wide with Myers tire supply and our product is the only tire sealant that passed all tire engineers tests with Akron labs.

2. As it remains liquid in the tire it does not cause imbalance.
3. We had temps in the 20's but it did not freeze.
4. it is cleverly packaged
5. It comes in a big bottle. Enough for 4 car tires of average size.
That is important as you must use enough to coat the tire evenly so balance is maintained.
It is about as thick as tomato ketchup so It takes effort to push it through the valvestem.
The only downside is that the supplied plastic tube tends to pop off of the sealant bottle in use.
the plastic tube does screws onto the valvestem securely.
You will need a spare lid if you want to carry a partial bottle of this sealant in your car.
Don't spill any, it is messy but will wash off your hands with water. Putting it into a tire is something best done at home.
Sahara really works and it works well.
I ended up having a puncture that was less than 2 mm, unknown what it was from, but this tire sealant proceeded to just leak out slowly with the air.
I'm still giving this 4 stars because I think WITHOUT the tire sealant my tire would've went flat in about 5 minutes (judging from when I refilled it to find the puncture after all the sealant had leaked out), but with the sealant I made it all the way home without issues - best guess would be that it lasted 20 minutes or so judging from my commute that day. So the sealant definitely did something, but did not actually stop the leak.
For most people I still think this is worth it, I'm personally unsure if I'm going to use it again though unless I need something as a balancer. The cleanup when changing tires with this in it is pretty time consuming, and I already tend to carry tire plugs and air canisters with me in case of tire punctures anyway, so I'm not sure it's worth it in my use-case.
I wound up using a ketchup bottle with an air nozzle stuck in the back for pressure - the weather was 45 degrees and the bottle was 70 and it was too stiff to flow.
Maybe I should have warmed it up to 100 degrees first.
No problem reassembling the valve stem so that part of the formulation works fine.
There are three issues which will make this take much longer than you thought it would:
Number one: PUT SOME OUNCE MARKINGS ON THE BOTTLE! They put one at 17 ounces and that’s it.
Number two: You have to break the bead to get the goo into your tire. You can’t deadhead the fluid in there without a way for the air to displace as you introduce fluid that takes up space.
Number three: The stuff must do an outstanding job of clogging leaks because adding it to a tire will take you 45 mins to an hour and a compressor. This is because it will clog the air stem every 1/4 ounce and you have to clear the clog with your air compressor by adding air to the tire to blow the goo clog.
So far so good with this for balancing. Given how fast it clogged the air stem on the tire with no valve in it, it should do well with punctures. I’ll let you know with an edit to this review once I’ve tested that part and how the next swap goes.
Overall, I think it works well for balancing and is more economical than the competition. Just allow more time than you think you’ll need.
