Product Description

Super Lube Grease is a patented synthetic, multi-purpose lubricant with Syncolon (PTFE). Synthetic base fluids and the addition of PTFE micro powders combine to form a premium lubricant that provides protection against friction, wear, rust and corrosion over a temperature range of -45°F to +450°F. Super Lube Grease is a USDA/NSF listed Food Grade lubricant NLGI-2, rated H-1 for incidental food contact, and will not run, drip, melt or separate. Compatible with most other lubricants, Super Lube outlasts conventional greases 3–4 times.

    I bought this grease along with a mini needle tip grease gun to grease the gear head of some air ratchets and die grinders. I think Super Lube and CRC make some of the best lubricants on the market so I'm certainly going to keep buying their products, I just expected the container to be full. It's not a big deal since it's clearly the 14.1 oz that was advertised (and I completely understand manufacturing costs and the reason its probably this way); the OCD part of me would just prefer a smaller container that happens to be full as opposed to a larger one that's only 1/2 to 2/3 full.

    I use this grease for the sprocket and chain of my stand mixer and find that it does a fine job and stays in place well. I only have a dual speed mixer and neither are very fast so I’m not sure if its performance would remain the same at higher speeds. I’ve also used this same grease on refrigerator door seals, the crank mechanism of a citrus juicer and other internal mechanisms of tools in the kitchen. Seems to work well on plastic fittings and helping caps and lids slide on nicely as well.

    In general this is an excellent food safe grease to use any where a thick synthetic grease could be applied and from a brand most of us know and love!

    I bought this grease for my KitchenAid mixer, based off the glowing reviews. It workd great for a while, then my mixer started clicking... I opened it up, and all the grease had migrated into one spot, like maybe it's too thick to stay on the gears? I went ahead and moved the grease back around the gears, and after a while, same thing. I really don't feel like buying new grease, I also don't really like opening up my mixer every few months. But for now I guess I will just re-pack the grease when the mixer starts to click. It does seem to work really well when it is freshly packed around the gears. I have also used this grease on a few other things, such as little o-rings, and it is absolutely fantastic. In fact, it is my go-to for most things that need lube or grease. It just acts weird in my mixer.

    It all started 1 day at Napa I saw it and said food grade huh. Yep now everything greaseable of mine uses super lubes products. The very first item I used it on was a dremel flex shaft ,I now use it in my die grinders air ratchets my foredom tx flex shaft grinder my electric impacts and my angle grinders it's even on my smith machine so on and so forth with no problems some of which function better than before. I've got pretty much all there products now the multi purpose grease,the cleaner,air tool oil,anti seize,engine assembly grease ect. Yall need to make engine oil. I've got the engine treatment super lube makes mixes nicely with liqui moly 5w30 but I would like to have my engines all with super lube oil. I even prefer yalls penerating spray over freeze all and pblaster. It does take a little bit longer for the penetrant to do its work than the other companies but the trade off of no fumes and not smelling like I drumped pblaster on my head is definitely worth the little extra time in my opinion. I have multiple grease guns that I've marked super lube only the rule with them is I see you put anything else in those guns I'll turn you into Captain hook. I had 1 experience when cleaning out a flex shaft sheath and I was using the kitchen sink for the hot water and my mother saw me and said don't you wash that in the sink where we do dishes I've seen you put grease in it before! I had the tube of superlube right next to me I said oh you mean this grease dipped my finger in it then licked the grease off it. She looked at me with horor in her eyes 😂 I said mother it's food grade. That experience got her wanting all she owns to be lubricated with the same company. All her jeep grease points have Been filled with super lube. Oh by the way I do not recommend that you eat the grease I was just proving to her my trust in this company. Nothing haplend from me doing that absolutely no side effects. Super lube I'll definitely be a life long customer as long as you keep putting out quality products.
