These are very handy if the button on your jeans breaks off for some reason. Way better and cheaper than throwing them away! There are 6 different buttons, so you can choose whichever one matches best. That said, these have a very small post, and the back screws on. If your pants are at all tight, the pressure is on a very small hole, so they tend to damage the fabric. Getting them off the posts in order to install them is also very challenging; I only succeeded in getting the back off of 4 of them. That could be user error rather than manufacturing, I am not sure!
The description also said they can be used to tighten jeans, as you can put them farther over than the existing button. This did not work for me at all, as the zipper then bunches up in an odd way.
So, they are much cheaper than buying new jeans if your existing button breaks, but that is about it.

Rivets are not supposed to be something you can move around. These do not stay in place you put them on your jeans. Go to close the jeans and the rivet falls apart, literally.

No-sew buttons are very handy especially when you lose one off your pants. I got some when I had a button come off my favorite pair of jeans. The buttons are reuseable, adjustable which is awesome. The buttons are easy to use, and I use these more than just missing buttons, I use on my duvet cover to keep the inner cover from sliding down. These are well worth the money.

EDIT: sometimes these are way too difficult to open. The directions aren’t great.

I had some issues where a button pin wouldnt “click” all the way into the backing, so it couldn’t withstand any pressure. When the click-in mechanism works, it does the job. I have been using these for items that need more hold than a safety pin but that don’t face all the pressure a stomach can put on a waistband.

These replacement button are the ticket. Now I will admit, that on the first use I struggled a tad at getting the back off. Once I figured out how to properly do it, viola. So simple. I’ve used one on my favorite jeans that the button came off of. A couple months in and this button is still in place and holding strong. I do recommend keeping a set up of these in your sewing box.
